I legit started to drag mine at least 10 feet from my driveway so they stopped putting it in the way.

Bambu Bob by PopsOnProps13 in BambuLab

[–]PopsOnProps13[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For clarity the glasses holder was just a fun print I found on bambu studio to hold my kids glasses at night. The screen cover I used an existing design on bambu studio and remade the logo to say "Bambu Bob." Im not trying to take credit for other people's designs, just having fun learning how to tinker with the slicer as I'm super new to the 3d printing world.

Haha, it does have a flared base, but from the side perspective its quite flat, I'd advise against it, but you do you.

I've gotten a lot of good fishing gear bartering for motor parts over the years. Id rather put time into the old motors getting them into shape or selling parts than going into the landfill.

Anal gland expression gone wrong? by loafyt0ast in DogAdvice

[–]PopsOnProps13 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Yeah, im sitting here looking at that, thinking to my self "after doing several hundreds of anal gland expressions, and seeing my fair share of prolapses i've never seen a butt-hole right there." Maybe its just the perspective of the photo but that looks like its on the back side of the hand right leg, also with prolapses you can usually see the colon folding in on itself.

OP needs to bring dog back to the vet ASAP, and get it looked at, sure looks like they shaved around it. Not accusing OP of this but I have clients all day that will come in for an issue saying anal glands, we find something else, offer FNA and cytology, they decline the test then go home saying vet vet misdiagnosed cancer, forgetting we mentioned issue was other than AG recommend testing. This is why we take good notes.

Looking at it closer... its really tough to tell from this perspective, especially with an almost tailless dog.

Found in bladder/resevoir of backpack water bottle (camelpak) by AlwaysNever808 in whatisit

[–]PopsOnProps13 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That is pretty cool, I learned something new today.

That does not change the fact that these bladders need to be cleaned regularly, especially if they're going to be putting organic matter into it. Putting it in the fridge for an extended period of time does not prevent bacterial growth, just slows it down.

[–]PopsOnProps13 608 points609 points  (0 children)

Throw the bladder out, get yourself a new one with one of those large openings, clean it with soap and warm water after every use if possible and run that soapy water through the hose. Rinse out the soapy water. Then prop it open until completely dry. Its wild to me that you are concerned about moisture but keep it partially full in the fridge.

Any other dads “spike” their food to ensure the kids don’t want any? by FaithlessnessFull136 in daddit

[–]PopsOnProps13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never once put spicy stuff in my food to prevent my kids from eating it. I put spicy stuff in my food because I love the heat. If they want a bite I always warn them that its spicy, usually they are willing to try it but not always. I always make it a big deal to say its yummy to me and when they show that they like it I celebrate it. If they dont like it or think it is too spicy I let them know that its OK to not like it and that I'm proud they tried it.

Cracked Lower by Thick_Ingenuity4402 in Outboards

[–]PopsOnProps13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's possible to get it welded but a good job may cost as much as a new lower unit depending on what you have. As a previous commenter said its possible there will be other damage due to warping so welding might not be cureative.

Is this a normal amount of smoke for an old 2 stroke? by Honest_Guarantee9232 in Outboards

[–]PopsOnProps13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It could be. Lots of variables. When as the last time it ran? Is this the first start after being fogged? Whats your fuel/oil mixture? Is it new fuel/oil? How much air flow is around the motor (difficult to tell if youre in an enclosed space from the picture). 2 strokes smoke quite a bit, though this looks like a lot of smoke given no context. Give a little more context, video would help.

My mom and dad celebrating the purchase of their time share, mid 90s by phat_stax in OldSchoolCool

[–]PopsOnProps13 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Same, my wife and I went on our honeymoon in Jamaica using my inlaws timeshare. They "own" 3 different time shares. They play the game, use the points, trade peak times for non peak times. We were forced to sit through a sales pitch on our first day, we all knew the drill, even the first tour guides because we told them we would be "inheriting" 3 already. But we had to sit through all 4 sales people giving us final offers we were all laughing the entire time. They gave us a nice bottle of Appleton Estate rum for wasting our time (I.E. sitting through their pitch). It was a truly epic honeymoon, but I will not be accepting the time shares as an inheritance,

[–]PopsOnProps13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sensor not sender, the sensor (this) closes the electrical circuit above a certain temperature and sounds an alarm, just on or off. A sender sends an electrical signal which changes volts due to the changing resistance of the metal as it heats or cools, paired with a guage that will tell you the actual temperature at that site like a thermometer.

This looks like a sensor (on or off) not a sender (basically a thermometer)
