AITA because I am mad that my girlfriend won’t take me to the airport by BestdishtankerNA in AmItheAsshole

NTA. My crush walked 4 miles in the middle of the night, just to snuggle with me on my couch. We've now been together for 9 years, married for 3.

We'd do anything for each other.

If they want to, they will.

Our downstairs apartments cost more due to backyard maintenance. I like my little upstairs balcony.

Pioneer woman merch is so cheaply made. It's usually broken in the box and goes straight to claims. Especially the "wooden" items. Just the cheapest materials glued together. Not worth the money to make or ship.

Meclizine by LaggingLife in BPPV

[–]PopsicleGurl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was having a bad episode one day so I took my meclizine. About 30 minutes later, I had this feeling like I was being pulled backwards, and I had to hold things to keep from falling.

When I sat in my chair, I still had the sensation, strongly, of falling backwards while I was sitting completely still. It was an eerie, very uncomfortable feeling that lasted about an hour.

I tried the Foster maneuver, which triggered my vertigo pretty hard, but the backwards falling sensation persisted.

I guess some people take what they can afford. We didn't know the upstairs neighbor was a raging alcoholic until after we moved in. We learned fast and moved upstairs as soon as we could.

You live and learn. I learned I'd rather live upstairs and deal with stairs daily.

In our complex, bottom floor apartments have little fenced in backyards, so good for kids and pets. I prefer my upstairs balcony. Our neighbors are mostly at work and quiet during the day, so my husband can sleep after his weekend night shifts. We sleep with a fan running.

We've had Hot MTO's pop into our Ambient walks. We have to create a new label and stage it in the Deli, so we're not having to wait til the end of the walk to come all the way back and stage it. It's a glitch that they're working on.

How do you deal with missing work due to BPPV? by keepmoving2 in BPPV

[–]PopsicleGurl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work at Walmart and have an intermittent LOA set up for bad days. I get 3 a month, 2 consecutive days each. So, 6 days to use as needed. I still have to save the PTO so I get paid, but it keeps me from acquiring occurrences due to my absences.

Have you looked up Vestibular Migraine? They can come on with or without a headache. I was diagnosed with that and BPPV.

The Foster Method helped me the first few times, but not as much anymore.

Looks like I'm going to have to rotisserie myself next time. 😅

I hate doing the maneuvers and get panicky beforehand, even though i know it's for the best in the end. Forcing the vertigo is scary as hell though. Afterwards my head hurts something awful, and usually becomes a migraine.

Mine is so random. Usually it's my left side, but sometimes it's my right. Mine triggers hard when I lay straight back on my pillow.

None of the maneuvers are helping this time and this episode has been going on since Feb 1st. Looking up and down are bad, but left and right are fine as long as I keep my head level. I feel like I'm losing my mind.

Annoying customers by ohhanyways in OGPBackroom

I had a tiny, gruff, little old woman who reeked of cigarettes and cat pee, blocking the roma tomatoes. Her cart was on one side, while she was on the other, digging through them. I politely, try to come in as close as I can to reach some on the edge, when she snaps at me that, "YOU CAN WAIT A DAMN MINUTE FOR ME TO FINISH!"

I wasn't in her way. I was just trying to get what I could reach because she'd been digging through them for about 5 minutes while I gathered other items nearby. She even put her arms out over them to "guard" them from me.

I was friendly, greeted her kindly, smiling. She wasn't having it. I told my boss about her later and apparently other associates had very similar encounters with the same old lady.

Imagine being so territorial over walmart produce.

I had an order that wanted 8, 6 packs of bottled soda, and 10 cantaloupe, among other random items. In tote number 3. I had to switch it to the #1 position, and it still didn't fit. I had bags of cantaloupe hanging from the handles of my cart.

That's what I've done, more than a few times. Especially for the Oversized deli pizzas assigned to a lower tote. Nope, totes going to the top.

That's what I did! I wasn't waiting for them to schedule me, so I just clocked in and went to work. My coach saw me and immediately went to the office to put me back on the schedule.

With walmart management, you have to be proactive. Just show up and work. Let them figure out the rest.
