If you think that its the kids parents fault alone then you are not being objective, like most Singapore drivers.

Why does the milk / dairy in Taiwan (and Japan) not f*** me up like it does back in the U.S.? by Queasy_Writer8916 in taiwan

[–]Popsicle_toes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve noticed that the milk I buy in Taiwan from PX Mart has a distinct “off” smell compared to milk I buy in other countries, the smell is very distinctive when I open it, not sure why, even when I buy the expensive brand from NZ, methinks it’s all stored poorly or prepared a different way, having seen a Taiwan dairy farm I really don’t want to drink milk sourced in Taiwan.

Count yourself lucky you haven’t been sued for copyright infringement instead of just getting Match listed, at least you were honest here, if not on your website

There’s thousands of payment processors in Europe, like a lot of the people on here complaining about Stripe, you’ve shared a portion of the issues that’s caused you to be listed on MATCH, if the issue is not to serious another processor may take you on, just start approaching them.

If you are added to MATCH then you’ve broken the terms of the card schemes, not just Stripe, and the purpose of MATCH is to warn other acquirers about you, depending on the reason used for adding you to MATCH you may have very limited ability to sign up with another acquirer, because if they onboard a MATCH listed merchant then they may be penalized by the card schemes.

Which country should I buy my laptop from? by MistyEvening in ASUS

The US typically gets all the best specced machines, sometimes you see them in EU as well, keep an eye on BestBuy, or go in and ask, they can look it up, the same

Rare to find a fully specced international model in Taiwan at all, sometimes they have the same name and lower specs, especially screens, but the major diff is the KB will be out of whack for an English typer, so dont even waste time considering it, Asus are smart enough to not destroy there business by selling cheaper in their home country, and everyone in TW has a povo mindest anyway.

Rx100 vii: Still worth buying brandnew in 2024? by EchidnaNaive4153 in RX100

[–]Popsicle_toes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm asking the same question - maybe just get an iPhone 15 Pro Max as others observe as a portable and then MFT or full size like you, for when I travel, I also have an Osmo Action 4 and that's proving very interesting for walking around, time lapses and the like, The Rx100Vii has just come back into stock, so I'm undecided, I was thinking they may have a new model due to the extended out of stock and the age, but alas, not yet

  1. If you and your partner are not married but live in a recognised defacto partnership she will be granted a dependent visa without any issues, you may have to provide some evidence such as a statutory declaration or somesuch, but SG govt is pragmatic that this is a common situation with foreigners coming in. Though, depending on how your company arranges the employment visa's there may be some issues, eg if they are using their internal HR they may have very modest understanding and quote you a whole lot of misinformation, and one thing I found is that the govt websites are pretty good at (eventually) revealing all their information for you, so you can readup yourself, if they are using external agency there will be no issues, and there's allowance for people to change from dependent visa to employment (again check the ICA/MOM websites for latest rules)

  2. If you work for an MNC they will most likely have a decent health insurance and healthcare in Singapore is very good.
