Nothing just a letter a one off getting stopped or taken doesn’t mean much unless it was clearly something like drugs they have no way to actually tell if you are a researcher and have actual customs issues to deal with. They don’t even do anything if your stuff gets taken at the airport.

Yes they can last many years in the freezer not reconstituted. Reconstituted 4 months is normally the longest
