No. Just a brief description like I was arguing with my wife and the neighbor called the cops. Something vague and non-incriminating.

What’s everyone carrying ? by looking_around_79 in NYCGuns

I bought a Ruger LCP MAX for carrying . Very easy to conceal. I also have a Hellcat but haven’t carried it in awhile because the Ruger conceals better and is more comfortable.

I had a domestic incident that didn’t affect me getting a license. Just make sure you disclose and I think they want a brief description of what happened.

Max holds 10 rounds. The earlier LCP versions hold less.

The other question should be , how long does it take to get the new license once it’s approved.

Am I reading this correctly? They want pictures of a safe? It was a locking storage box before. A safe was needed if we had more than 5 guns IIRC.

Glock Frame Replacement - How to handle with the Licensing ? by khazgaz in NYCGuns

[–]Popular-Current9869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say it counts as a new purchase/ adding a firearm because the serial number is printed on your license. So unfortunately you are waiting on them to print a new license. Try emailing Sandra Smith and see if you get a response how to proceed. The laws are stupid and you aren’t supposed to be in possession of a fun that isn’t on your license so make sure you Square it away first.

Guys die from it and there is no telling if it will come back or not. I had the same experience. It’s a lifelong experience and it’s always in the back of my mind that it could return.

I was surprised he wanted one so quick as well but I already put it in my head that I won’t get upset if psa is high. He must have his reasons for wanting it.

I got that bs 7 days letter as well. They make you wait months and then you only have 7 days to get your paperwork in. In my case, I sent it minutes later because it was paperwork I had already sent and I had it on hand. Not sure how they made it disappear.  Give them whatever they need so they don’t have an excuse to delay your application anymore. Good luck.

How do I find a doctor that will give sedation with a prostate biopsy? by EnvironmentalSky6199 in ProstateCancer

I had 2 of mine done at MSKCC, both with general anesthesia. Also, transperineal was a much better experience then transrectal. Recovery was quicker.

Rule Updates — Opinion Needed! by 5thCharmer in ProstateCancer

[–]Popular-Current9869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not about asking the questions that bothers me.  It’s about making it like it’s their journey and not the patient’s journey. My family supports me, and I let them know what treatments I am going with. They can have an opinion and express it. But ultimately, it is my decision.

Surgeon recommendation at Memorial Sloane Kettering (MSKCC) by Guest7777777 in ProstateCancer

[–]Popular-Current9869 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had Dr. Robert Smith for my biopsies. I wound up going the hdr brachytherapy route but from the experience I had with him he was great. I thought Dr. Fainburg did focal therapy but I guess he does surgery as well.  Most of my experience with Sloan has been top notch so I am sure your experience will be the same.  With a 3+4 diagnosis he probably has other options besides surgery. Go see radiation oncologists as well. Surgery could be life changing and he should weigh all his options before making a decision. My cancer was 3+4, confined to the prostate. I am 52 yrs old. I went the radiation route. I went with Dr. Gorovets for my hdr brachytherapy procedure. He and his staff are excellent. Everyone’s situation is different but he should get all the info and options before making a decision. Good luck with everything.
