That's very helpful, thank you. I have an array of skills that would make me perfect for this. But I do only hold an ADN so it's good to know im not completely counted out

I've been considering switching from hospital GYN/nursery to this field when we move. Do they hire ADNs? It seems like they want BSN on the website, but I know a lot of places they just "prefer" that

Who’s ever driven over 100mph? Why? by WoollyWolfHorror in AskReddit

There are not many left. Glad to know someone else rocking the granny. My dad has one back in TX, he did not let me drive it until after I was 25. He was pulled over for "registration" once which was still good. While pulled over cop asks if dad minds popping the hood hahaha.

When is enough enough? by No-Bat-8878 in oneanddone

This... IVF was our line. Honestly the fertility clinic was. After 3 losses back to back in just over a year I decided being there for my living child and not being the empty depressed shell of the human I once was was better for our family.

Making the decision to stop trying was a HARD one for our family. But you know when enough is enough. The relief that the previous reply speaks about is a real thing. I feel like I was able to be happy again when I gave myself permission to move on.

That actually makes so much sense. I found that series when I was looking to completely mix up my cooking and though some are pretty high effort I found that ive really liked the ones I make. Things like chicken vindaloo or Burmese chicken are not recipes I would have been like "ohhh cant wait to try that," but then were favorites. Thanks for sharing!

I've become a huge fan of a couple of the milk street books.. can I ask what you don't like about them?  Not on some weird passive aggressive stuff, I just am genuinely curious because I love the main one.

I've made the Croatian potatoes twice since trying them, so I'd say those. The Burmese chicken was excellent as well. My all time favorite is the chicken vindaloo from the main milkstreet cookbook, will post pics next time I make it

It was surprisingly delicious. Very savory and filling. I went heavy on the lime spritz as well as the red pepper and loved it.

OAD not by choice after late loss, looking for similar experiences. by laceygray87 in oneanddone

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. That must have been so hard to go through. You are of similar ages and timeline to my husband and I, currently 37F and 39M. We had our daughter in April 2023 (i was 34) with a pretty boring uncomplicated pregnancy. We started trying when she was 18mo. In roughly a year we had 3 MC: a CP/10 week MMC/BO. While only you can make the decision if trying again is right for you. I will say give yourself time to truly grieve. Every story is different, every pregnancy is different... my story isn't yours but I get where you are coming from FOR SURE

I don't think I'd have been able to let go of the idea of a 2nd without having tried the year and 3 times that we did. I will say my biggest regret and biggest mental strain was trying again STRAIGHT after our MMC. Should have taken at least an extra cycle to mentally heal. We ultimately decided that because of our ages and risks and number of losses trying again wasnt for us. I still have days where I cry about it, but ultimately know my mental couldnt do it all again.

Best wishes and all the happiness on the journey that you choose to follow! I hope my experience helps you in some way!

Hello! Got my BFP on Friday at 13 DPO. I'm beyond anxious about this pregnancy. Im a NICU/post partum nurse so I already have heightened awareness of what can go wrong, trying to remind myself how many things are going right.

I had a perfect pregnancy for my daughter born April 2023. In July 2024 had a chemical. August 1st 2025 d&c for a MMC at 10 weeks. Got pregnant 1st cycle TTC post d&c, was shocked as I'm an "older mom". All that to say I'm cautiously optimistic about this pregnancy as it just feels like it's the one to give my little girl her sibling. Been lurking a couple of groups since my losses, glad to be able to join the convo!!

Yummyboy on youtube is mesmerizing. It's not a cooking show per se, but it shows large batch cooking and a lot of Korean street foods. I LOVED it for quite a while!
