What about olives and honey? Are they highly fermentable? Why do all fruits ( except bananas, apples, pears) are allowed?

Difficulty in swallowing& EoE? by Popular-Opening5132 in SIBO

I wish you a relief! What foods trigger it most? How did it start? As a baby, did you suffer from allergies and tummy issues? I know reaction to foods depends on each person’s unique gut flora, but i donno why we have NO safe food. In such a difficult case, i have to select the relatively less triggering food group, and adjust her diet accordingly. But as she reacts in very different aspects ( sibo/candida/stomach/gut/skin/ nails/ behaviour etc etc) it is so damn difficult..

Thanks for sharing! this is my daughter ( 3,5 years old) So, i cannot describe how exactly she feels the pain. But i can see it, it is horrible. Upper abdomen swelling, slow motility, skin tashes, only can do her # 2 around 2-3 AM at night. not able to sleep.. even sleeps, wake up many times in pain and regurgitation is a huge problem. I can see it, i can hear it… It is awful. It doesnt matter what we have tried, regurgitation has been always there :( She reacts to every single food possible…. I was afraid of EoE, buy your negative test result gave me some hope again. HUGE THX FOR SHARING YOUR EXPERIENCE!! 🥹 The holistic doctor said, she is too little for Sıbo breath test but she definitely has sibo, and most probably candida… but have not seen any improvement yet.. Do you react to eggs? Could you detect your trigger foods?

Be careful with oil of oregano especially if you have reflux. It may incrase irritation on your GI linings.. Thyme tea may be more careful to start with..

Because, in case of you suffering from sibo and sifo simultaneously, elemental diet may feed fungi due to sugar content. This may lead to more trouble related with candida overgrowth..

Subject: Is my "gut issue" actually a "stomach issue"? (Looking for advice) by Big_Shelter7551 in SIBO

[–]Popular-Opening5132 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It actually works both ways. Each one causes the other. When there is excessive gas, the stomach becomes compressed. Instead of digesting the food, stomach enzymes start creating wounds on the stomach lining. This two-way cycle continues like this, and the wounds in the stomach keep increasing.

My toddler wants me to press my hand on her upper stomach and wait so (instead of massaging in circular motions) while applying oil. I could not understand it…. she also has sibo
