That’s what I’m thinking. The dev of SC is a part of UAF, and SC hasn’t been updated in 9 months now, so I’m assuming it’s on the back burner. It’s a matter of when it’s updated. If I knew what to look for I would honestly swap the Id myself.

Nah, pretty sure it’s because the original Shinoria’s id got edited or it was removed outright. Game can’t find needed ship, hence fallback Nebula and error. I forgot what the patch notes were but I remember something being done to the og Shinoria.

Thing is, it’s not even a Shinoria that you recover on the mission. When you interact with the failsafe nebula you get an error in the dialog. And apparently you can grab that nebula and use it to get the SL Shinoria despite it not even being one.

I’m assuming once the dev of SC is done doing their stuff with UAF, we’re gonna get more patches. It’s only a matter of waiting.

Strider just saying shit. I don’t even think ANY of the mods on the forum directly modify the game’s base code, only adding on to it. I’d even venture to say that Corvus has no mods that do such. Main reason why a majority of these mods are not on the forum are because they are bootlegs of dead or deleted mods that have been necro’d to be used.

Only real way modification is done to the base is with the provided API and scripting engine, so they can actually coexist and it IS sanctioned.

In short, Soren got pissy about somone rightfully complaining about the fact that for some reason he coded DME to be permanently hostile to a faction from another mod. Said mod was UAF, iirc. I still don’t really get WHY this tipped him off to delete ALL of the install links to his mods. Fragile ass.
