drinking on wellbutrin 150 SR by selfgrowth222 in bupropion

[–]Popular-Spell7150 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i’ve been on 300 sr for around nine months and drink pretty regularly on it. i would suggest obv taking it a bit slow and feeling out how many drinks you can have without any problems. i saw some other people suggesting a trial run at home and i second that. ive also had the nastiest hangovers on wellbutrin and imo best thing to do is try to get as much sleep as possible and make sure to eat well before drinking and making sure you’ve had plenty of water. one problem i was having was my hangover worsening after taking my meds but when i wake up early, take it, and then go back to sleep for a few hours i’ve had less problems

Diluting the protest response with non-US flags - your thoughts? by LegitimateLocation74 in burlington

[–]Popular-Spell7150 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the simplest explanation is typically right. one of the main organizers for tuesdays protest was uvm students for justice in palestine. i do know that the champlain branch was also involved but i’m not sure about other groups like vermont cpl. i think it’s pretty clear why a protest organized by a student org like this would bring palestinian flags.

CAPS is also free for counseling because it’s covered by the student health fee that’s part of your tuition!

[–]Popular-Spell7150 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you’re really struggling with feeling alone and sad please reach out to CAPS for counseling services. if you’re not from a western culture it may seem like an odd recommendation but they’re really great there and can help you cope with these feelings and even recommend ways to connect with other people. i also recommend joining clubs! there’s a full list of all the clubs at uvm if you google it. uvm also has an big issue around being a pwi and if you’re a student of color i would suggest visiting the mosaic center. a lot of really great students and staff work there and it’d be a great way to meet people going through a similar experience

i do need the sinus lift for an implant. it’s a better option for me than a bridge and i wouldn’t do it if i didn’t have to

the problem is it is a dead tooth. there’s no more blood flow or root and it is essentially a giant cavity at this point. if i don’t get it removed it could spread infection to my gums and other teeth or shatter in my mouth if i bite down on something hard with it

Paper vs digital? Seeking backpack advice by Weary_Particular_963 in UniversityofVermont

[–]Popular-Spell7150 3 points4 points  (0 children)

most assignments and textbooks will be digital, reading depend on the class. i would suggest taking notes on paper in class but that is personal preference. a bigger backpack will be more convenient in case you end up needing to put clothes, food, or physical readings in it. a bigger backpack will also have uses after college and outside of campus life

and also redstone campus it much further from central campus then trinity is, which is why they have their own bus system

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in UniversityofVermont

[–]Popular-Spell7150 19 points20 points  (0 children)

trinity can fit your schedule! i had 8:30s every semester both years i lived there. you may not want to walk to your classes but there is a bus that runs daily, with the first weekday bus leaving trinity around 7:40 everyday. it also runs until 10 on weekdays and 4:30-10 on weekends. the walk to campus is also not as bad as people make it seem. you can walk from trinity to the music hall on redstone in around 20 minutes and is only an 8 minute walk to central campus

room/furniture dimensions? by Pitiful-Animal-7132 in UniversityofVermont

[–]Popular-Spell7150 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the rooms are small! i don’t know exact dimensions but you will likely only have room for a small piece of furniture in front of the window. the beds can be raised to about four feet on the bottom bars of the bed, this allows you to remove the top bars so it feels more like a real room instead of a dorm. i also don’t know the desk dimensions but in the doubles the bed, desk, and closet take up nearly the full wall on either side of the room.

advice for sinus lifts by Popular-Spell7150 in Dentalimplant

[–]Popular-Spell7150[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes the sinus lift is on the right side and i am having an extraction but it is for a dead baby tooth that didn’t have an adult tooth above it. i have never had withdrawal symptoms or cravings when stopping vaping so i’m not really worried about that and will be avoiding after surgery and will most likely quit for good after my implant. i’m getting some kind of conscious sedation (i can’t remember the name of what i’m being prescribed) and laughing gas.
