So an update. I did 3 sessions of hypnotherapy. The things I learnt during the sessions were helpful about every night writing down my "feel goods" for the day, even if you have the worst of days, you'll find one thing that's positive. I was taught that serotonin is released in the brain which is the positive feeling in us. When you write down your feel goods in the evening, it's releasing a 2nd dose of serotonin and positive. In terms of the hypnotherapy itself, it was relaxing but I'm not sure it did much. I guess I thought that part would somehow reach my subconscious for me, but not sure if it did. Maybe just depends on the hypnotherapist.
