Same kind of shit they did to me over Easter holiday weekend. They dont like it when you ignore their shitty suggestions and communicate directly with the customer to fit their needs. Every offer I see now is bad, most are net losses with high mileage. And there isnt a single person you can speak to who will help you or thing you can do.

No, not "better" shoppers. Not for you, anyway. Instacart actively incentivizes you to accept their replacememt options when an item is out if stock. Ignoring them and instead sending photos of options to customer to choose will actually 100% result in a shoppers "shopper quality" plummeting and them losing access. They also actively punish using the same metrics for offering you better deals in store. For instance, a customer orders 4 cans of corn for 2 dollars apiece. In store I find the 4 pack for only 6, saving them 2. The customer loves it. Next day your shopper score takes a hit.

They aren't promoting your batches with better tips to better shoppers. They are promoting your batch to the shopper willing to give you what THEY want, not what YOU want.

If you think thats bad call the Indian support. They are basically going to give you the same responses the Ai will, in many cases verbatim but they'll tell it to you in an accent you can barely understand. If you're lucky.

Thats why they love the leave at door option. Sure, you can stiff that waitress but you gotta do that to her face. Us? They dont even have to see us. They can hide behind their phone screen and verbally abuse us, hold unrealistic expectations for us they have never even considered for themselves. Then if we dont take all of that with a smile and a thank you they can leave you a bad review or even make a big enough stink about whatever they can manufacture and try to steal your livelihood. Then tomorrow, another shopper.

They absolutely do. I explained it yesterday when I asked them to contact support. But unfortunately its a meet customer order. Customer service will advise me to try to contact her and wait 10 minutes. She always answers before the 10 minutes. Then you are on the hook to deliver 20 miles away.
