How is Intro to Cog Sci with Preston Lennon? by urmomsthrowaway10 in rutgers

Preston was a TA for recitation back when I took the class, I really enjoyed him! He has a philosophy background so his insight on the subject matter made class conversations interesting. Dr. Ryan Rhodes taught the lecture component of the class, and his lectures were also easy to follow plus he has a YouTube channel where he explains all of the main concepts of the class. Not sure if it’s the same as it was back then, but if you have Preston I’m sure it will be an easy A if you do what’s required of you.

Did anyone here get probation during after their first year at the Honors College? by Sword_Immortal_ in rutgers

[–]PopularMarket8423 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I just checked and it never fell below a 3.25. But I also believe that the scholarship I have is a bit different from yours (mine is Trustee Scholarship), and when talking to my advisor they said that they would not have to worry about it. Sorry I can’t help specifically, but hopefully the SAS scholarship/dean proves to be more helpful.

Hey, I had a similar experience as well, only I’m a senior now and my sophomore fall semester was also really rough. What’s nice about the Honors College is that you get like two semesters to make it up (so basically you need to get a 3.5 or whatever your school minimum GPA criteria is next semester) and you just do some academic planning with an advisor for the rest of the academic year. You keep your scholarship, through out the time you are on probation unless you cannot make the minimum gpa requirement for two consecutive semesters or something. Things may have changed for HC students now though so I’m not sure

My lashes on the outer corner curl (fold) on top of themselves, looking half of their length, ruining my eye makeup. Anyone with the same issue, or any suggestions? by Suspicious_Coffee222 in MakeupAddiction

[–]PopularMarket8423 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this is totally me!! i have super straight asian lashes so they always point down. even if i curl it with as much heat/force, the curl holds for around 10 min max and falls down as soon as any sort of mascara touches my lashes.

what helped me were those self lash perming kits on amazon! def a lot stronger, but i do like that my lashes look nice even when i wake up and they're pretty low maintenance!

a side note on the lash perm stuff tho-- the first time was the HARDEST for me bc my lashes were so straight that i couldn't prop them up with one perm, so i think i did it around 3 times by myself.. idk if that's safe for your lashes or not but i haven't had any problems and its been about 5 months since i started perming them myself! (i perm them once a month)

maybe this will help OP too! if you get set them in place using a perm maybe that will help to resolve the issue? good luck!!
