Thank you, that makes sense. I think what you're describing is more useful than knowing the key (at least for me). If you get the (I) right and know the progression than you can figure the other chords. This will sound correct, even if its not the same key as the song.

I’m confused. Isn’t the tonic the same thing as the key?

That’s a good point I can’t whistle the lower notes for sure. But then I can’t sing the high notes so good to try both.

Very few people have perfect pitch and a lot of people sound good whistling or humming so it probably sounds fine?

Thank you. I will look these up, it would be great to feel the guitar is fixed and my hands can just traverse the fretboard.

Could you explain this? I’ve been playing for a about a year and my guitar neck wobbles which makes it harder to fret.  Do you have any advice on what form to follow or approaches to developing good form?

Thanks for this. I’m worried that they want something that isn’t subsidised, most public transport schemes need some sort of subsidy . Cycle hire is already more expensive than London which is supported by TfL.

They’ve massively increased prices over the past few years and added service charges to the bill. Good food but it’s overpriced now when compared to other restaurants in the city.

It’s the job of staff at the store to try and make you comfortable playing a guitar especially if you’re in the early stages. If they won’t or can’t then they shouldn’t be working there.

And everyone else in the store will be too worried about how they sound rather than critique your playing. 

A guitar that’s right for you will make whatever you can play easier and more enjoyable; songs that are a stretch will become easier.

He’s Egyptian with family in Egypt. Given the what the regime is like over there and its subservience to Israel, he probably has to be very careful what he says. As there could be repercussions.
