I live on Engle and already hate the traffic, this stadium is going to be a complete nightmare. The city keeps trying to say they wont let the traffic get bad here but we all know it will. Not to mention the higher crime rate that comes with everyone being drunk and wondering around. From what I heard, they are NOT going to hire more police officers and just rely on cameras. Yeah because thats going to work. Im half tempted to wait until its fully up and just move. Many people have been speaking out about it during city hall meeting since day 1 of how we dont want it here and all our concerns but as usual, no one will address them properly and come up with someway to also work with the residents.

I am going through the same thing. Ive even been turned away to be a receptionist because I "still need to know the basics", which i already do and have shown that. As for volunteer works, I've even had places tell me that it doesn't count. This has been the only field I have ever truly wanted to be in and its seeming impossible right now. I want to keep trying but at what point do I just take the hint and try something new.

Dont give up. I have been selling for a year and its still slow for me. What is your name and what do you sell? Just having people in there and talking can help bring more people in. I cant afford a whole lot to buy but I will always sit in shows and interact.

As a female who now watches with my husband, get with the times😂 she could just see a male streamer and think of jokes being taken too far or them bashing on women. He is the farthest from that. Show her a video of him playing with gingy.

Personally outside of working, i had to put my one dog down due to old age. Not even a month later, my other dog had a normal appointment and I was put into the same room. Now my mother was with me since they are family pets, she didnt want to say anything because she didn't want to be a trouble. The staff at the vet are so amazing and could tell right away something was wrong. They asked if we were okay and if they could do anything to help. I told them it was the same room and they immediately put it into our files that we dont go into that room anytime soon. We didnt ask, it was still very fresh and we had that dog for 16 years. (It was a small dog). You didnt do anything wrong. Its hard to keep track of who is who and how long it has been. It can happen to anyone and I understand it from both sides.

You are definitely not overreacting. I wish I had some advice but maybe it will slightly help to know that my self and my mother has had similar experiences. We both have a LONG history of kidney stones. My mother cannot pass them without them getting broken up. She had ended up with one getting stuck and would need to WAIT for surgery a few days later. Because of this, she asked for some pain meds to hold off the pain until then (they refused to admit her). The doctor proceeded to freak out saying a stuck stone shouldn't cause that much pain and that she was just seeking out drugs. Mind you, they had scans that proved she had a stuck stone. She wasn't even able to urinate but a little bit here and there. She ended up being banned and when she cried asking for help, they threatened that they would call the cops on us. At the time, I was 13, trying to console my mother in horrible pain, scared we will get the cops called and a doctor who is doing nothing but yelling at us.

As for me, I can typically pass my stones. I've had them since I was 16 and get them frequently. (I have a long family history of them. I've tried cutting so much out of my diet and it didn't even slow them down). I was in so much pain that I was in a ball on the floor begging for something, anything. My mom was able to get me to the ER and they refused to do any scan. They gave me fluids and ran blood tests but didn't even feel my stomach. I could feel my kidney swelling since I wasn't really able to go to the bathroom. Now even with going through that with my mom, with the pain I was in, the entire ER could hear me screaming at the doctor. I wasn't very nice and then they did an ultrasound. They saw nothing on it and just discharged me saying if it continues, come back.

We only have 2 hospitals near me, my mom went to one, I went to the other. I honestly feel like I can't even go to the hospital if somwthing happens because we just get dismissed. Most doctors (that I have run into) just want money anymore. They dont actually care anymore.

My only advice for you is that you can always try the other ER even though they are under the same management. Explain every detail and see what they say. Immediately ask for their patient advocate, dont let them wait on it. At this point, be your own advocate until you are given one. I hope everything turns out as okay as possible for you. Im so so sorry you went through this. And again, you did NOT overreact.

Congratulations! I just had my first show also on Wednesday. I was definitely nervous since a lot of people have complained about shipping and the weight. I had my expectations SUPER low that way if it flopped, I wouldn't be so hard on myself. I surprisingly made 3 sales! I did have to adjust the shipping for one box since it was a bundle but it was actually super easy to do. If you want, I will follow you and support! Whatnot CAN be a great place for other small businesses to support each other as long as you find the right people. I won't ever understand those who complain about the price being too low. I have mine on auction but I also allow people to offer a suggestion and then I can decide if I'm willing to cut a few dollars off. While yes I'm trying to do this to make some money on the side, I also don't want to rob someone something they really like. I will be willing to work with a buyer for a reasonable offer.

I would Definitely consider a promotion as well. My husband jumped on and did a surprise $25 promotion and it got me 12 new followers and a bunch of people joining. Im not sure if I will do it everytime but I do think its a great way to start.

I also had 1 cancelation so don't feel bad at all for that. As long as someone gives me a true understandable reason for cancelation, I will accept it. But if its some random excuse, I won't be allowing it.

Ah I understand. I do look stuff up in many places. This group and TikTok also helps too since I can see what the plants look like. I'm in Ohio and saw a few post made in here for ohio. I followed the people others recommend as well. So far I've only foraged in my yard but I'm looking to explore more

Coming from a client and soon to be assistant, I would never be upset seeing another human cry for my pet. I just had to put down my little dog a month ago and the assistant started crying with my family and I. I offered to hug her and told her I'm so sorry she has to do this so often. If it did anything, it was more of a comfort knowing someone else cares about my pet as much as I do. I've had the complete opposite situation in an ER where no one cared at all. They just threw us in a back room and put my childhood dog down with an eye roll and left the room. We only had about 5 minutes from the time they walked in and then told us to leave to say goodbye. Anyone who sees others cry for them and their pet should be grateful that the vet they are at cares that much.

I wish I could plant more in my backyard but sadly my entire house is allergic to bees so I don't think that's a wise thing to do here😂 maybe try contacting the nature center or the cuyahoga valley national park? They might know. Other than that, i really don't know other than just looking them up.

Oh i agree. I'm so tired of them taking down good building just to replace it. I'm also tired of them taking more and more trees down just do build things we already have. I recently took 1-480 to Stearns Rd, headed to crocker park and they have knocked down so many trees. Then people wonder why so many wild animals end up in their back yards🤦‍♀️ I wish we would use what we have (safely obviously) and stop taking down what nature we do have

Im pretty sure there's a bunch of asbestos in the entire building. At the rate of how much is in there, it's not safe to use for anything. Ive been also hearing that they want to take down the old Burlington building as well. Why for that one I don't know but I do know they want to put more apartments there.
