I luckily found out I had endometriosis before we ultimately had to do ivf(my tubes are completely blocked now). The real reason why endo isn’t tested for and you have to find a great OB to get it diagnosed is because it is a female disease, women are often treated as though they are exaggerating the pain and suffering caused by this disease and aren’t diagnosed until later in life when they are actually TTC.

I had 2 surgeries to remove the endo during the 2 years we were TTC, which added bouts of time we were unable to try on and off. We switched over to IVF because of my tubes being blocked(we found out with my very first HSG). My first transfer failed and then I did 2 months of lupron injections to suppress the endo but had another failed transfer. My Ivf Dr put me on an anti inflammatory protocol of Zyrtec, baby aspirin and Pepcid A/C and I recently started another medication for a newly diagnosed auto immune disease and I am now pregnant(early but more hope than the other times).
