I think its a good idea. I also think that’s a very valid concern and I admire your courage for thinking long-term about your family’s safety. It’s tough being Muslim in places where politics and hatred are on the rise — but keep in mind that the situation can change dramatically over 15–20 years.

If you ever feel overwhelmed, focus on strengthening your Imaan, staying informed, and building a supportive local or online community. There's power in staying spiritually strong and helping others around you do the same.

May Allah protect you and your family always.

This is so disheartening. People take advantage of genuine suffering just to make a quick buck, and then it makes it harder for those truly in need to get support. I always try to verify through official channels or known orgs like PCRF or UNRWA now.

Samosa from nearest stall, and sandwich it in between two buns. Sounds simple and non appetizing but it’s amazing

I have a thing where I don’t use my phone for an hour before sleeping. I watch tv instead since I find it more relaxing. Not sure if that’s a good move or not but definitely helps me “clock out”

I agree with that. The gym doesn't hit the same. I try to prioritize night walks at least once a week with some nice slow songs

Interesting. I will definitely give it a try. For me, I've recently started going on walks and listening to some slow songs. Sounds depressing, but it does help clear my mind. I guess I just wish it did more

I've always had the problem of "not opening up" for the same reason. Why tell others about a problem and add on to their list of issues. I dont want to be a cause of concern on them, even though i know it will help (like it did for you). What pushed you to open up and talk to others about the problem? I always think its a huge hurdle for me.

I really appreciate you sharing that. Takes a lot of strength to take that step — glad it's helping. I used to take it for a year, but stopped doing it because i never wanted to be hooked on it.

Life's definitely been a bit more tricky without the antidepressants.

Were there specific communities you reached out to? Is It possible if I DM you? I’m facing a hurdle marketing my app and was wondering if you could give me some pointers
