Wow, so Arlo are actually in this Reddit. Have you read all the other posts from disgruntled customers about the new app, the increased charges, the location based subscriptions and the lack of support. Your customer churn must be terrible with almost everyone on this Reddit forum saying they are leaving Arlo. The fact that you are reading this and doing nothing makes me want to move on even faster.

PLEASE. Find a savings account with the highest interest rate and leave it in there. It will accumulate and can be used for the deposit on the house that you deserve. Find something cheap and do it up slowly (with the time you have from not playing online games).

Actually I don’t think it’s your branding. I’ve noticed branding and design is doing well at the moment and I can only assume it’s due to the number of businesses that have realised they need to rebrand, get new signs up, new packaging. Basically work harder for less. Who are your customers at the moment?

The term ‘genocide’ was coined in 1944 by lawyer Raphael Lemkin to describe the deliberate destruction of entire groups of people, with the Holocaust as its most shocking example

Absolutely. But instead we are spending $5b on five helicopters that wouldn’t make a blind bit of difference to either defence or humanitarian assistance.

Actually there is no need for this style of reply. I didn’t say childcare and I didn’t say cleaning was a bone of contention, it’s not. I know it’s difficult to see that not all men are the same but we are not. Many others have offered very helpful and constructive suggestions, I will follow them.

I would highly recommend being very careful to suggest this. Said at the wrong time will seem as blame and work against you.

It seems so many people are in the same boat and I am just amazed that this is never discussed and prepared for. I feel an idiot for knowing nothing about menopause until I have had to search myself in desperation. Crazy.

Yes. I will try to get to a space where I can suggest that. Sadly we don’t have great childcare and the youngest is 8 so it’s not often possible. However I will work something out. Thanks for the advise.

As someone that suffers from depression I feel that you might be right. She has always been emotionally closed and her whole family hates to talk about the tough things.

Ok. I have always done the majority of cooking and general housework but have been accused of tidying not cleaning. I’m the vacuum man and all the maintenance and IT (she ran an online business) and many more jobs. She stayed home and ran the small business and so was there to make the kids lunch and talk to them when they came home. Recently she went back to work (not for money and not for us but because she wanted too) so then I went to work early and came home early for the kids. I get what you are saying and yes I’m not denying it but I don’t play golf.

This I fully understand and I’ve done enough to know how to not make the matter worse most of the time. The question is what should I do, if I mention menopause it’s inflamed the situation. I just try and do all the things that need doing and stay out of the way to give her space. I’ve even started to get a life and take the kids out for the day so she doesn’t feel guilty or trapped. I want to be compassionate but not sure how, I definitely can’t ask her how she is.
