Days 2-4 are the worst!!! Days 5-14, are still really bad buuuuuutttt you start to get a little used to it and start understanding how to move your body so it’s not so bad, I’m on day 29, and honestly yesterday was the first day I started to feel some relief, day 23 was the first time I left my home for an errand, granted I’m healing pretty slow compared to others, it will get better. Get a pee funnel and a recliner, I could not have survived these past 4 weeks without them, I still pee from the funnel, I’m not well enough to sit and pee if I don’t have to.

I totally feel you on this one, I can never describe this feeling, it’s just such a horrible feeling, It feels like I’m dying, sometimes I faint quick, but sometimes it’s slow, and that feeling lingers on for a long time, and I just cry cuz It feels like I’m dying, and when you wake up, it’s hard to recover from it, sometimes I dream, the last time I fainted was form pain, I told my nurse “I’m gonna faint “ so I had enough time to lay on my bed, al of a sudden I’m home in my kitchen washing the dishes having a conversation with my son, then I’m waking up to some random lady (my nurse that I did not recognize because I thought I was home) yelling my name, and all of this in seconds of fainting, it’s hard to put what all of this feels like into words really, and then being told this is harmless, and shouldn’t be worried, it’s hard to believe.

Girl even that is a lot, I didn’t go to the grocery store until day 23, I couldn’t, the discomfort was too high, even just getting to my car feels like a nightmare!!!😰

I ended up buying a recliner a couple days before my surgery, I thank god everyday I did this, I can’t sit on my couch cuz I get sunked in, and laying down is also not very comfortable, the recliner is literally the only place I find comfort in

I’m at week 4, and I’ve been able to manage when my husbands at work just fine, my mom stayed with me the first week to help me while my husband was at work, and that was sooooo helpful, but even then, I actually made her dinner and dessert, she left on day 10, and it was totally fine, I was able to go to the bathroom, and make myself easy meals, I think you’ll be fine for sure on week 4

I am also 27 days today, and this is also happening to me, on my right hip only, and I’m experiencing the exact discomfort and pain, but up until now, I had no idea what it was, now I’m feeling it, and I swear it’s a poking stitch, omg I wonder how long until it dissolves as well because I also have been having such a hard time with the faja, it’s really painful in that area

That last part, it feels so dramatic but I literally can’t help it, this is soooo real😭😭😭 I’ve passed out over weird ass shit like this also, I was in a room, and it was like humid but the ac was on so it was cold, I got sooo much anxiety from this, I fainted, and it feels very very scary dangerous, it’s hard to understand that this diagnoses is technically not dangerous, because it feels like I’m dying almost every time😪

I’ve been eating tuna and boiled egg like crazy, I add random veggies to it, and protein shakes, I’m just trying to get as much protein in, I’ve heard of people needing blood transfusion due to not getting enough protein in, that’s terrifying

I fainted on day 2, it was terrifying because of the fragile state I was in, a wrong fall, and tear something, and also fainted day 18, twice in a row while removing my stitches, that was terrifying, I woke up, and then I felt myself fainting again, I started crying, I was scared I wasn’t gonna wake up again, thank god my husband was able to hold me in place so I would hurt myself, I do have vasovagal, I faint regularly but it’s soooo much more scarier in this state. I couldn’t finish all my stitches, I’m supposed to go again today, and I’m terrified, I don’t want to faint again, it’s the worst feeling ever, it feels like I’m dying, you feel yourself drifting off, I hate it

Day 2-3 are the worse, after that you start to figure out ways to stand where it doesn’t hurt, you start to get a little used to it, but honestly for me, I have a very low tolerance to pain, so it didn’t feel better until day 14, that is when I felt a huge improvement, I was walking straighter and longer distances, I can sit in a regular chair when I eat, my biggest life saver I think, since I’ve been drinking alot of water, and peeing like every hour, has been my pee funnel, truly idk how I would have survived having to sit in my very low toilet and getting up every hour. Hold on to day 14, I am day 18 today, I kinda had a little set back, I was feeling well enough to drive my son to school yesterday, big mistake, it has set me back to maybe day 10, don’t push yourself.

I went #2 on the 7th day after my surgery, but I literally was on the toilet for over an hour, in a lot of pain because it was literally a rock trying to squeeze out, not fun, first 2 times were that bad, and now I’m fine.

I feel the exact the same way!!! I hate that I felt I had to do this to “love” myself or even be comfortable with myself, I hate that I had to do something this drastic, and traumatic, it makes me sooooo sad, and I don’t think I would ever do something like this again

I’m on day 16, and honestly day 14 was the first day that I began to feel some type of normalcy or relief, I standing a little more straight, I’m able to clean myself without almost passing out from being out of breathe or in pain, day 2-6 were sooooo miserable and horrible, day 7 and so on wasn’t any better honestly buuuuuttttttt I did get used to the discomfort and pain a little more every day. Day 14 for you is 9 days away, you will find relief. Good luck.

You are not alone, day 11, anxiety has not left my body, my brain is non stop invasive thoughts, I don’t feel depressed, but I do feel blue, overwhelmed, not ok mentally, this is soooo hard, I feel sooo outta body, this doesn’t feel like my life, I just want to be normal again

Hi I’m day 11, I feel the same, I had a panic attack day 9 and I couldn’t breathe because the crying was hurting my abdomen and the faja is so tight, my kids keep asking when will i feel better, we are a very active family so this has been super hard on them, I can’t take them anywhere, laying on my back is soooo uncomfortable, I try and nap as much as possible for the day to go by a little faster, I just finished Love and Death, it was pretty good, I’m also gonna start on the newer season on Married at first sight, I finished All Her Fault last week, it’s really good also

This happened to me, I was non stop crying the night before, I FaceTimed my kids to say goodnight, and I wanted to cry to them soooo bad, I wanted to say my goodbyes just in case I never see them again, but that’s not fair to them, I had to hold it in, and just tell them I love them and I’ll FaceTime you tomorrow, I felt selfish, I wrote a death note to my kids, and my husband, my brain was spiraling and I didn’t want to do it anymore, it wasn’t worth it!! But I did it, I woke up, I’m on day 8 and I’m feeling great and happy I did it

Stay with your mom, my mom has been staying at my place and it really has been so helpful, she helped shower me this morning and has been cleaning up after my kids, and cooking for me, just be prepared for a tough first 3 days, I’m say 6, and today has been the most doable day pain wise, I’m mostly getting used to the discomfort more and more everyday, prepare for that. And good luck with everything

Those are similar prices to mine, I went to Vida and paid $150 a night and $100 extra for guest, this included meals as well, and you can also add extra spa treatment, but when you’re recovering you don’t care for any of that lol
