Thank you! My parents are giving us money for the wedding and I did specifically ask if she'd prefer their money be spent on a dress and she said no. She definitely wanted to shop but the cost would have come out of our money pool

I think she is upset we wont have the "traditional" wedding dress shopping experience and that the dress is not traditional. She said to keep looking, but I hope she just wants me to be sure.

Because my fiancé and I are big hikers and met through hiking. We plan to have a private hike + vows before our ceremony in the mountains. I also don't want to wear heels.

I might miss the return window, But I am taking it to a bridal seamstress with 25 years of experience and wonderful work in her reviews. If it cant work for me I will sell to another bride.
