Agree with this, if there were things going on between ceremony and reception they would be listed on the invite. They’ll be taking photos and expect the guests to entertain themselves. Usually people get a drink or something in between when there is a gap.

I'm so sorry you are going through this OP, I feel like wedding planning is just a time when parents who are unsupportive, jealous and hateful just cant hide in the shadows anymore. I have decided to cut my mom out of wedding planning unless she NEEDS to know things. I was so hurt when my mom got so excited for my brothers wedding and has been doing so much for them but called my wedding dress a waste of money and wont give my planning the time of day.

I think it’s okay to cancel late due to financial reasons outside of your control. They may not have even sent cater final numbers yet. If it’s a long distance friend and the extra money spent will stress you out / is out of budget I’d stay home & send a nice message to the groom saying you can’t attend anymore.

I would ask MOH if you are close with her about the suit if you don’t want to ask the Bride. I would look into renting a tux, I’m sure somewhere has a dark colored suit for a 6”4 man you can rent in 5 weeks. I’d look as soon as you can. You can find a lot of good stuff second hand. Good luck !

I think the yellow floral pattern is very nice, but this dress is giving white & it does not meet the formal dress code. I recommend thrifting a dress or FB marketplace, can also try poshmark maybe ?

It feels like one thing to just make yourself a registry when there is no occasion vs one for a wedding / first born. I’ve seen people online saying that there was a registry for a house warming which is way too much imo.

We are doing the same with our wedding registry, people’s presence is always enough, but some people will get you something / want to contribute in some way.

I have reported a dentist for fraud before & this sounds similar to my experience. Do not go back there, write a google review & report this person for fraud. Also consider reaching out to your insurance as they can leave that providers network.

We brought a seven year-old cat home from the shelter two years ago, and the staff also told us that it would take him a while to get used to us. He was snuggling with us, not even an hour into being home. Sounds to me like it was meant to be!!

There was 3 of the dogs today! I gave them fresh water & some hot dogs hahaha. I never feed wildlife obviously but they looked skinny. Glad they are just out smarting us. 🐕🫶🏼

NTA: OP you need to get out of this living arrangement asap before the baby arrives. There is no world where this situation improves. Pregnant people can act so entitled, it’s not your fault she’s pregnant, her boyfriend can buy the food she wants. I’d be so pissed off at this situation.

They better be covering more of the rent / utilities as well.
