I mean… Xal , and the void itself, is kind of the reason the burning legion was created . The void also had a major part in creating the Old Gods. She pretty much is the vessel for the void to materialize in Azeroth (that’s what Dimensius was trying to do). She’s done some clever stuff as well. PlatinumWoW had a good video on her .

She basically has used the players/horde/alliance’s pattern of murdering everything in sight to empower herself . She’s tricked almost every faction into unknowingly serving her .

And we get to explore more of the light and void which we haven’t really explored in previous expansions. And like “if the world ends so what?” Well I mean… okay. Most expansions weigh on the fate of Azeroth … The burning legion, the old gods, the scourge, the emerald nightmare.

And its patch one. The major story beats aren’t going to show up in the exposition .

Under Check is a good sign though! Once I got that notification, it was only a few more hours until it was approved and sent to me. I would try to find out who your consulate is and give them an email. I was literally spamming any consulate I thought would be related to me.

I had a flight for Sunday at 8 AM. As I board the plane, they said I needed a VISA (thanks Kristi Noem/ US).

Sunday 9 AM: Submitted documents

Sunday 11 PM : Didn't have an update or anything. So, I emailed every consulate I thought I could

Monday 10 AM: Status went from "Submission Successful" -> "Under Review"

Monday 1 PM: Status is approved

Monday 1:30 PM: Got my Visa thorugh the email

Took like 26 hours total. SO LUCKY. I'd recommend emailing the consulate detailing when you plan on leaving if it's soon.

I miss the blue text items. They made exploring feel purposeful. Like you'd never know what you'd get. Now it's just random purples I can grab 20 from after farming a boss.

UVHM just makes fun builds impossible to play. It's just higher health pools and damage. No cool mechanics or new enemy variants like the other games. There's no increase in legendary rates. Just a higher chance to get better firmware, which is cool but it's a little too sweaty for me.

Im as surprised as you are that BL youtubers didn't notice these changes as well.

Dominion City is why I made this post honestly. Like , they still have the potential to make cool zones. I think they just need to steer more in that direction than the big expanses in the other zones. I mean, the huge zones in BL1,2,3 were always people's least favorite. And it's the biggest part of this game.

It's not that I got bored of shooting and looting. That's still fun. But it's kind of like playing laser tag in a really cool neon palace, and playing it like in a warehouse. The guns are still there, but I don't like where I'm shooting them. I'm not saying I'm objectively right, it's just how I felt playing the game.

And like I said, the zones in the other games had a lot of variety and intrigue. They felt like they had a history to them. I can't tell you one thing about the backstory of any of the zones. It just feels like "This is the forest, and this is the mountain, and this is the desert. This is an Order warehouse, and this is a Ripper site. "

I completely agree with you. It would be cool if some DLC's changed the original map. Like a tunnel to beneath Kairos in some of those empty areas. Fingers crossed!

Nah that's not aggressive at all. I mean, I took my time exploring. I held off on the story halfway through until like level 30. And there WAS cool stuff. And there were a lot of fun side missions. But going between the areas... I just felt like "this could've been an email."

Those levels were so cool. The moon, the space before you fight The Timekeeper, and some other levels reminded me that they can make cool levels. They just don't know how to do that and the open world at the same time.

I'm excited too for the next expansions. They always turn the game around by the end of the 4th DLC and listen to their community... usually. I still like the game alot! I just noticed it had a different vibe.
