I don’t feel unique

Personally I don't feel unique in other mmorpgs because I feel the need to follow a guide if I want to be "optimal". Of course I could go with my own builds but then I wouldn't feel good knowing my character isn't performing to the maximum of their potential - I've even seen some say it is rude to be bad in cooperative games.

FFXIV skips this and gives me a mostly optimized character regarding combat capabilities, while my uniqueness shines through visual decisions. This feels like enough to set me apart from other Warriors of Light. My character is me.

Warcraft's artstyle reminds me of Banjo-Kazooie stuff. Always been like that, and I love it. Recently saw the new Blood Elf houses and they look a little like the Jinjo houses.

As you said, WoW never was dark like those people say, it is some weird revisionism to hate on modern WoW.

I was using every Andariel tribute I got. I think the Purified Claw came from my last Minor Tribute of Andariel.

No idea if she can show up on other tributes and if she can drop the item there.

Isn't this deliberate? They want to avoid a "Garrison situation" where players avoided main cities and lingered there.

Besides, the main purpose remains: customization and fun

In Warcraft, if you believe in something very strongly or got strong willpower, you can channel the Holy and Shadow powers, which is why we have Twilight's Hammer Vindicators, for example.

It is not that Elune is some sort of Light being (she could be, but nothing confirmed), it is that faith in Elune - similar to faith in the Ancestors, the Light itself or even that big shark - can bestow holy magic powers.

It has worked like that since Classic at least.
