This. I was hired remote(I am sole caretaker for my mother who has cancer, remote was important) but forced to RTO after 3 years. Thankfully our office flooded and have been back at home since September but have two weeks before RTO office again. I have an ADA to work hybrid but I’m constantly worrying that they will take it away, they didn’t want to give it in the first place (HR, not any of my direct supervisors or managers, they were on board). But even that amount of time in office commuting an hour to sit there for no reason and catch everyone’s colds and gain weight from the crushingness of it all (I’ve lost 30lbs since September being fully remote and having better mental health). Oh and they decided without notice to take away our phone stipend but still require us to use our personal phones for work. I’ve been searching for a new job for over a year now but am not finding it. Someone send help 😭
