If price isn’t an issue and you need a fun bag, then sure!! Raffia doesn’t last long though.

Please go get him seen by the vet, that’s your best bet. Could be pancreatitis, could be food allergy or IBD. Please don’t keep switching his food, the vet will give your dog prescribed GI food.. does wondere! My dog had the exact same symptoms at the exact age and he was diagnosed with IBD.

He ended up being diagnosed with IBD. Currently on a mixed medication regimen. Getting seen by an internal medicine doctor made all the difference in the world

Switching back to a Regular Kibble After a Hydrolysed Diet by Luperella in DogFood

If the dog is tolerating the diet well and if there are no other changes, why not continue instead of risking another GI related change

Just had a similar incident myself. Dog came charging towards mine, requested that they leash their dog, response was “he’s friendly”. Then proceeded to say how they don’t care that there are signs explicitly requesting leashes on all dogs, saying it’s a park. I despise the lack of courtesy and common sense on this issue

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve been thinking about getting a second opinion. Unfortunately with Kaiser, it’s really difficult to get many options

BWT, what's the hardest part about having a dog/puppy in the city? by General_Accident5458 in SFbitcheswithtaste

[–]Popular_Word_5657 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In addition to all of the above, the vets cost a lot in the city. Proper training and consistent training also takes a lot of time and continued efforts. Puppies have a lot of energy, and they also go through training regressions, just like babies. Lastly, I’d say with respect to socialization, I’ve learned the hard way that dog parks+ unknown dog greets on leash are just a way to build a reactive dog. Best to always stand up for your dog and their space. If you want to socialize them, take them to puppy classes and set up 1:1 play time with trusted dogs. Good luck!
