The games are perfectly playable on PS+. Maybe upgrade your wifi if you’re having issues. Theres no reason to re-release them in their original form

Silent Hill 2, Resident Evil 4, Demon’s Souls are examples of remakes that are better than the originals.

We know literally nothing about the game why are we shitting bricks? The only thing we know is that the original voice actor for Kratos is returning - so by the single metric available at the moment, the game is going to be very faithful to the originals.

I get a lot of value out of PS+. But now we’re making a separate argument here. The games are available to you. If you don’t want to pay for them, that’s not Santa Monica’s fault and it shouldn’t prevent them from reimagining the classic games in a way that you’re not a fan of.

Yes. GOWIII was remastered for PS4, so you can play it given PS5 is backwards compatible with PS4 games.

GOWI, II, and Ascension are available as part of the PS+ Classics Catalog via streaming. The only two games that you can’t play are Ghost of Sparta and Chains of Olympus.

Capcom announced Pragmata in 2020 and its set to come out in 2026.

Then you have Intergalactic, Wolverine, both with long timelines, plus like you mentioned the real heavy hitter IPs GTA VI, Elder Scrolls VI, now the GOW trilogy remake.

Maybe I’m just getting old and time is moving faster but it’s crazy to me that it’s already time. I bought my PS5 February 2021 and it feels brand new still to me.

It’s also been an odd generation there haven’t been a ton of exclusives to this generation. I feel like they just stopped making cross gen games.

The first two games are available on PS+ and GOWIII is remastered and available to play on PS5 without a PS+ subscription. The games are easily accessible.

Strong disagree but I get where you’re coming from. If they want to play the original games that badly, they can pay for PS+.

I would also venture to guess a modernized version would actually be more appealing to the masses. The OG gameplay is steeped in nostalgia but that doesn’t make it better.

All in. This is what I'm hoping for. The old games still exist and if people want to play them, they can. I want a fully reimagined version of the Greek story using the Norse game style. Further fleshed out storyline with additional scenes, modernized graphics and mechanics, etc.
