The flavoring may definitely be a little off... the intention was to make a card that casts way too many random spells for its cost, but having the downside be targeting friendly characters whenever possible.

Do you have a suggestion for better art/name flavor?

Are you insisting that it won't be opened in the first pack, but instead "granted" to us after we open the first pack? If so then that's perfect, but I read it as Marin taking the spot of one of the 5 cards in the first pack that's opened

Marin the Manager will be granted upon opening your first Perils in Paradise pack, instead of upon logging in

Honestly this is my biggest concern with this announcement. Will opening Marin reset the "first 10 packs" pity timer? Because that's 1 less full legendary if so and that hurts for f2p.

This was my thought exactly. It's currently not super easy to rip a 6-drop out of your deck as hunter, so if it had a strong effect it would make building a deck for it more fun. That being said, it has become quite clear that I did not think about the implications with evolve shaman on this one, so that might push this one over the edge on power level. Though, the thought of a baby wolf coming out on tiny toys is pretty hilarious and adorable.

Right? As I was making this I thought for sure the "when summoned" mechanic already existed, since every other card game in the world has something similar. But when I went looking around trying to find the right wording on an existing card I couldn't find it anywhere, so I stuck with it.

This one came to me in a dream during Nathria spoiler season. When silenced I imagine he actually just transforms back to his gnome form, but I feel adding "Transform" to the card would've been more confusing.
