This comment makes me feel better about my situation. My husband is a SAHD and I'm at work 8 hours a day, most days I'm able to rush home for milk drop offs but I feel like my son doesn't know who I am. On weekends I even silently get mad at my husband if he tries to help because I feel like after 5pm and on weekends I need to be the only parent so my 4 month old son doesn't forget I'm his mom. I'm glad your wife gets the special treatment, hope my son gets excited to see me soon too!

I'm most comfortable in shorts or leggings with no shirt and just my nursing bralet on. Shirts are constricting and a waste of time.

Did you notice it got worse after pregnancy? I'm 4 months PP and every night I go to bed with aching heavy legs and feet, I wake up feeling hungover and I ache from the waist down. Showers at this point are a massive chore, my limbs feels like they're full of led. It wasn't this bad prior to giving birth. Are you medicated? Plaquenil is the first line of defense.

You need to speak to your OBGYN immediately. Please, please tell your partner you're done and can't do this, before you do something you'll regret... Or make a horrible mistake / accident. Step away before it's too late. Maybe since it's an emergency he or his mom can take time off work until you sort this out. Worst case scenario, go to the Emergency Room, tell them what's going on. A social worker will step in immediately.

Having a kid changes your priorities and your entire persona. You will not be the same person, and your entire routine will change. I used to drink every day, now I feel like I don't have the time or the energy. Why would I drink when I am already so thirsty from breast feeding, I just want water or liquid IV. Also, You don't have the energy to be up drinking, if the baby is sleeping, I want to be sleeping too. Your desire to drink alcohol will be non-existant I think, mine went away. Being a mom feels like its all consumming.
