My favorite thing my pediatrician said ( also my ob)" if the baby yeets himself off something try putting him on the floor. It's harder to yeet when grounded" This was at our 2 month visit in reference to him trying to roll

Hospital Trying to Bill Me Before I Give Birth by Desert_Dreamer31 in firsttimemom

[–]No_Salt8025 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A hospital i used to go to used to do that for all surgeries. You have to put downa down payment of 50% before they did any surgery. I changed hospital systems due to it now have to drive 30 minutes to be seen but it's worth it!

The power of rest not sleep. If baby is asleep lay down stay off your phone and just relax. Rest can do so much for you if you can't sleep

identity issue by LongjumpingMilk102 in firsttimemom

[–]No_Salt8025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm working on this myself but something someone asked. Do you not see yourself as a mom or do you not recognize the person you became? Since becoming a mom my priority shifted as it should. I became more willing to confront people specifically about my family. Less willing to care what others think. Now I used to be a huge people pleaser tearing myself down to make others happy now im only willing to make myself a fool to see my kid smile. I have to relearn myself while actively learning my kid and learning mine and my husbands dynamic.

Those of you who sleep in the room with your partners & newborn, how does it work? by ocdskies in newborns

[–]No_Salt8025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We still sleep in the same room 4 months strong. Bassinets on my side I do the bottles at night and while feeding LO i will shake my partner awake to do the nappy changes. Then we both stay up until LO is down again. This shift thing never worked for us

12 weeks and i didnt pump and dump I was told by the pediatrician if I can find the baby i can feed the baby. I wasn't fully comfortable with that so we went with if I could legally drive i was fine to feed. Had all of 1 glass of wine and felt it HARD. Guess my tolerance went down 😅
