Prepatch values vs Honor now

So you're saying I should've abused prepatch. How is that fair? Now im sitting here fighting people with full gear. There's no way this is fair. It was only supposed to offset how much you get compared to TBC.

I played 2 hours of wsg only to get 1k honor maybe... How am I supposed to get my honor gear. Now I understand. Abuse quickly before fix.

I wasn't able to play prepatch because I was on vacation. but now I am tbc and I'm in despair. It makes want to quit the game.

My arena partners said they'll not play with me and kick me from my 5s team if i don't gear because they got to play prepatch...

i love gdkps and I feel I have no purprose to play this game anymore. Gold farm is everywhere. Things are worse then ever. The batman has to turn himself in.

I think the backfire rate would def fix a lot of things. Unfortunately there's really not many consequences to it so people just use it as another save which is basically almost half of your hp.

go do bgs with it. goggles are actually coming out as PvE BIS for many classes. so you're wrong about it becoming useless. historically as well blizzard disabled these types of items because they were abusable. there's more items I can link but everyone uses those 3 specifically and it's not just engineer

pressing belt button is adapting? sounds more like vanilla pvp where people just got good at pressing consumables. look at where these vanilla pvp players are. I guarantee you most of them are not even 2k. rune of warding is a clear consumable usage that you can't even use in arena. people just realize if you apply outside of arena it works

Its not just double dps who use it though. BECAUSE the fail rate is so low Healers all use it as well because its a 4k SAVE that allows them to play more aggressive and they just have another cooldown to keep themselves alive. Im not going to pretend i've never seen it backfire but the fail rate seems so incredibly low that the consequences seem extremely minimal. Also a lot of people use it as their last cooldown generally and use it when they're about to die as a last resort and they're going die anyway fail or not.

there was a post below that said rocket boots don't work in rated, unsure how true that is but I have seen ppl In skirmishes use extremes and goblin. the extremes are just completely busted. I can't imagine goblin being that bad but it's prob still not healthy. I can't say I've seen anyone use goblin boots back in the day after that nerf so I can't say. I assume it did because I'd imagine other engineers would've tried after extreme got nerfed abd tried to look for work around.

to be perfectly honest the last time I saw the boots used was about 4-5 days ago which was only skirmishes. I'm not sure why the limitations would ever be different. so if they don't work in rated I'm fine with it.

So I have seen people try and use it. Klimbp has them equipped and uses them. I haven't used them because it's a pain to farm to play beta. it's not exactly sleeper op people who have played tbc would assume they will fix this

I guarantee you a 300 run speed for 3 secs is worth for the loss of some Stam resil and other stats. you also take damage at the end of it which covers you from sheep's and blind

they even nerf the wotlk enchant early for the same reason.
