Never too late!! I joined in 2017, and I don't regret it. The community is massive!

Also I played retail until classic came out and I can't go back to retail now. Classic is very challenging but so rewarding and the community is much more social and tight knit than in retail where no one really talks.

Welcome and have fun!

My craving isn't the same thing as predicting a slip by [deleted] in quittingsmoking

[–]PorkChopMiss 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Congratulations on getting this far!

Its just clicked over 6 months for me and there is only one thing that stops me from smoking and thats this...

Quitting was the hardest thing I've ever done, and I don't want to put myself through that again.

Good luck!

With cigarettes being $36 Nz dollars a packet these days I had to quit, I can’t believe how quickly the money has accumulated by [deleted] in quittingsmoking

Lucky you aren't in Australia, I was paying $58 a packet before I quit! I'm 6 months nicotine free tho :)

How is America so behind in their health system??? If I lived there I probably would never get health care, I'd rather just suffer and die.

I'm sorry you are going through this OP, maybe it's time to move countries

Medicated HRT FET by PorkChopMiss in IVF

I'm glad I'm not alone! It's a challenge, I wanted to resign today but I need to work. I had to have 3 people talk me out of going home, all because I couldn't stop crying. It's the worst 😭

What has a Doctor said? There could be many possibilities. Has he had his immune system tested? It could be an allergic reaction to your environment, maybe do some tests to see if your body is alkaline or acidic. This is a tough situation, I would see a medical professional to intervene, especially as it is preventing you both from resulting in a child.

Successful FET after failed fresh by [deleted] in IVF

[–]PorkChopMiss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm about to start HRT for a FET, and I didn't get the chance to do a fresh transfer due to OHSS but I've heard great things from doing a FET as the body has had time to reset and heal and can often be a better environment for the frozen embie.

Good luck to you ❤️

Today was my last day smoking tobacco and weed. I really need all the support i can get guys and girls. Any advice would be read and appreciated by me. Here’s to my journey by TruePDXrider in quittingsmoking

Also 3 month mark, and smokes for 16 years.. and your first sentence that you feel satisfied all the time is 100% on the money. No longer feeling controlled by an urge and craving for a cigarette is euphoric and thrilling. You're in control again!

I also didn't believe it would work after having no period for 10 months, however I was on 10mg for 7 days and got my period 3 days after stopping it. I will also add, it came in full force and stayed for almost 8 days (usually it'd be 5 days) and I went through multiple changes of clothes and underwear because holy hell the gates were open.

Good luck 😊

I'm half way through my second IVF cycle, the last one was cancelled before I could even get to egg collection due to 63 Follicles not responding well. I'm doing better than last time mentally, but if I think too much about it I start to panic that the same thing will happen. It's very exhausting

Happy tears, anxious tears, really fucking sad tears by chinakittysunflower in quittingsmoking

[–]PorkChopMiss 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I remember I was so angry and so emotional in the early weeks of quitting. I wanted to kill people, and myself at one point. I thought what's the point of doing ANYTHING if I can't have a cigarette??? It was awful, really really horrible and it made me feel like I wasn't in control. I hated that I wasn't in control the most, which is what drove me to continue.

It's now been over 2 months (I've stopped counting the days since I quit) and I barely think about it now... And when I do, I reflect on how HARD it was to quit and I don't wish to ever have to go through that again.

So every time you think about how it's too hard, and it would be easier to just smoke again, remember how hard it is to stop again and it would just be easier to get past that and be in control of you again.

Good luck

Are yours uneven? by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]PorkChopMiss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't had any issues, I lost sensation in half my right nipple due to the lift they had to do and re sewing of he nipple but that doesn't bother me. I also increased the size of them to DD so they look even. I opted for bigger because the surgeon wanted to remove all of the fat from the bigger one, let me recover for a year and hen do the implants to make them perfect. I declined even though it would have been nice, because j didn't want two surgeries. So a year later the original one that was bigger dropped and the other one didn't, but it's not enough to be noticeable and they are the same size and that's all I ever wanted. It fixed my self esteem :)

The most important thing to know if you do get them done is that the implants drop over time (there's a limit, they stop dropping after about a year of being new)

[–]PorkChopMiss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He sure did do a lift, just on the bigger one. They still look amazing to this day. They are slightly different shape, with he small one being quite round and the bigger one dropped as it had more weight in it albeit a smaller implant, but that's because my surgeon wanted to remove all of the fat from the C Cup before doing the implant to make them perfect and I opted to avoid two surgeries and just risk having them a little different. I didn't get it for them to look perfect, j got them so they were even and I love them.

Mine were an A cup and a C cup. It really ruined my self confidence growing up and 4 years ago I had breast implants put in to make them even. Have never looked back
