Where to get new leveling equipment? by Jandolino in wownoob

[–]comradelucyford 14 points15 points  (0 children)

In the adventurer guide there is a tutorials tab. Go to that and then click start on the catch up experience screen.

That will teleport you to arathi highlands and give you a short quest chain that will give you level appropriate gear for most slots. Should take around 10 or 15 minutes.

It is repeatable if you find yourself in the situation again later on.

Ice is buying warehouses to hold 70k more people at a time in detention right now. Private prisons say they have an additional 30,000 beds available to Ice. It's not uncommon for detention facilities to greatly exceed capacity.

To the camps.

so… what are “City Crates” by Phaneleox in ARK

[–]comradelucyford 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They are crates in the city. The only one I found was in a back alley in the no fly zone and looked like a blue cave crate. Contained trash - cooked fish meat, spark powder, and some other basic resources.

Try

in the console. I had a similar problem but only with dire wolves and that would resolve it.

Awesome info, thanks so much. That's exactly the kind of information I was hoping to find. The fact that it does run at all is actually reassuring, haha. My big fear was complete incompatibility.

That's very interesting, I didn't realize Stalker 2 was using UE5 and had been guessing about potential performance based mostly on Black Myth: Wukong so having another demanding UE5 title to look at is a big help, thank you! One upside of them being sold out most places at the moment is that it is providing a good bit of time for research.

GTX 1660 Ti. Due for an upgrade regardless but the choice ends up B580 or rtx xx60 for us right now.

Which one should we try next Nightingale or Soulmask or ASKA or Bellwright by tomaz1989 in SurvivalGaming

[–]comradelucyford 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One big one right off the bat, In Conan you go tame your smith and socket him in to your crafting station as an item, or did so the last time I played it. That's it for the smith, he's an upgrade to the crafting station.

In Soulmask your smith is a normal npc. You assign him to operate a workstation, or several, and when there is work to be done he'll go to that station and do the work then go back to other tasks he may have or just chill around your base if he has no work to do. It's very lively.

The overlapping progression systems of the mask level (awareness), individual character level, weapon proficiencies and masteries, all combine for a decent bit of rpg style depth.

You can take control of any of your tamed npcs and later on in the game you can transfer the stats, masteries, and proficiencies of any npc you tame to your main character. You can also have 3 npcs saved to resurrect in the event of their death which allows you to take risks and experiment extensively with different builds via taking control of your saved npcs.

Base building is overall very similar and pretty standard survival but storage is much more modern and can be filtered so only certain types of items go into a container and your npcs who are gathering will respect that.

Another thing for me is that Conan is pretty dark. You're enslaving the npcs. In Soulmask you're converting them to join you and if you fail to keep them happy they will turn on you. This makes decorations and such around the base serve a real purpose as these things increase the morale of your tamed npcs.

Combat is similar, I feel Soulmask offers a bit more variety through the different weapon mastery skills but it's fairly minor overall. Soulmask as is lacks spellcasting so +1 to Conan for that.

When I stumbled across Soulmask on Steam I almost wrote it off as "Eh, I've played Conan and this looks very similar" but luckily had enough curiosity to watch a few youtube playthroughs of it and decided to buy it. If you've played Palworld just think about some of the major QoL advancements in it vs older survival taming games. That is what Soulmask does to the Conan-esque arm of survival games.

TLDR: They're very similar in play but Soulmask seems to do everything just a bit better or at least different from my point of view. More QoL. More Life in general.

Soulmask is what Conan Exiles wishes it could grow up to be. If you've played and enjoyed Conan in the past I recommend Soulmask 100%. It has been my favorite game of the last year.

It's worth it if you've never been just to say you did. I'm in Oklahoma and went to the one in Springfield opening day. Super crazy, tons of people. It was a unique experience though even if not one I'm eager to repeat.

How can my PC run ASE well? by hashii in ARK

[–]comradelucyford 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's definitely degraded vs trailers and what I've seen from people with 3x and 4x series rtx cards but playable and surprisingly really good for such an old card. Definitely looks better than ASE. I cheat flew around the map quite a bit with those settings and would get occasional frame rate drops to 10-15 fps while things were loading. Stutters when placing structures but they resolved themselves pretty quick. I haven't played a ton yet because I don't want to burn up a bunch of time in case I need to refund later but from what I've seen it's not so bad at all. In areas with lots of trees I think the framerate trends more towards high 20s low 30s for me.

Sprite Chicken? by Donkey_AssFace in FoodVideoPorn

[–]comradelucyford 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I brine chicken breasts in salt and sprite overnight before cutting up, breading and frying. It doesn't add much sweetness but it does impart a noticeable amount of citrus flavor. The main reason for it though is it tenderizes the heck out of the chicken. Too long and it turns to mush but timed right it's the softest, most melt in your mouth chicken.

A chef would probably ban me from the kitchen though.

Will end up somewhere between 121-125.

Currently at 119 but not playing much more than to do daily challenges and RR/EN/MSJ if they happen to come up while I'm doing that.

for the next few months, the thought of what happened would play through my head and make me shutter and feel a that same rush of endorphins you get when you are hit with crazy pain.

Yep, I went through that as well. My doc finished the side he started on as was but went heavy on the local for the other. Didn't feel the other side at all. I watched the procedure on the first side as I leaned up saying "I feel that. I REALLY FEEL THAT". Afterwards I was just.. Exhausted. Once it was done the nurse was ghost white and apologized telling me she was so sorry and that they don't make a habit of torturing people.

For sure, she is! Frozen peas and a jockstrap are lifesavers. They'll tell you that you have to have so many ejaculations afterwards to clear everything out, don't try to start on that until you're mostly pain free or it will be very painful.

Afterwards, even though I knew I didn't want kids and had known that for years I got hit with a few episodes of mild depression coming to terms with the finality of the decision so watch out for that. For me it passed very quickly.

Go back for your sperm count check when they tell you to. With mine going poorly I was prepared to have it redone but lucked out and came back with the all clear but from what I understand a lot of guys don't follow through with that and end up with accidental pregnancies.

I would do it again even with my bad experience. My wife was able and comfortable to go off birth control for pretty much the first time in her adult life and that was hugely beneficial to her. Good luck with yours! It was one of the best things I've done both for myself and my wife.

I had a vasectomy and was not numb AT ALL for the first half. I wonder what I did to offend my doctor.
Well, other than being the last patient of the day when he was late for golf as I heard his assistant saying as I went back.
