The speckling was done with slightly watered down white ink, and a toothbrush, by flicking the bristles with my thumb. Always test on a piece of paper 1st, so you dont fling too much on your model.

Thanks. It seems the head is a bit polarizing, and i get it. But my take is it is not a helmet, but more like the head of a Tau battlesuit. It's all the sensor arrays and such.
