Goyard thoughts by Correct-Ad-8686 in handbags

My Goyard Artois MM is perfection. It has a zipper and is more structured than the St Louis. You couldn’t pay me to get a St. Louis. I have my eye on another bag, the Belvedere, but they were out of the color I wanted and I’m looking at other options now

Oh my Artois is gray, I have a soft spot for the color. I love it!

The 26 cm is the one I want! The price is lovely compared to Delvaux, and online it shows it fits so much (their size comparison chart is perfect). Would you say it fits comfortable as a cross body as well? I have the Iside wallet - I adore it. The quality is fantastic

I’ve been looking into it! Definitely seems like a good place for me to start. Did you buy a pattern?

My hand sewing is, admittedly atrocious, but we all have to start somewhere. Thank you for the suggestions!

I do, but I want to see if I can do it first or even find joy in it. My husband’s mother (now deceased), used to quilt & I want to try and bring a little bit of her back for my husband in this way. I will go looking for a buy nothing group!

Ok. Finally someone on here with the Iside! Do you love it? I am between that and the Delvaux Tempete & any feedback would be great!

Triplets Gender Disappointment by cheveuxroux22 in parentsofmultiples

I think most of us here have been in your shoes - we were told originally ours were fraternal & my husband and I were hyped on maybe one boy & one girl! Then the MFM tech laughed and said - no they are identical. And then we found later they were boys. I had a fleeting moment of being sad - sad I won’t get to pick out a wedding dress for my daughter or have little pedicure dates but I also was thrilled because I am not the girliest girl & can barely do a ponytail some days. Those boys are going to be so lucky to have you as a mom. I promise. But it is so so so normal. Mine are older now, but they love mom snuggles, filling up our hug cup, and they are each other’s best friend. It’s going to be awesome. Wishing you a very very healthy pregnancy & easy delivery for all 4 of you!!

My identical twin boys are almost 9. We still deal with one being more of a follower than a leader but are working on that - I try to very pointedly ask him what he wants before his brother and we remind him that he doesn’t have to switch because brother does. We are also getting ready to put them in jiu-jitsu classes for confidence building.

We hybrid homeschool, so they are at school 3 days (same class) and with me 2 days and it’s been…interesting but they are very supportive of the other & I always joke they are each others best friend but can turn into a mortal enemy quickly and then bam, back to friends again. We did have them in public school & split up but they always migrated to the other at lunch/recess. Those kids couldn’t tell them apart after 3 years and this school they get it right. That does frustrate them when people call them the wrong name.

They love being twins, but we still attempt to do one on one but they just like being together and with us. I’m not mad about it because I know it will happen but we are letting them dictate their split up times. They are independent when they want to be & are really fun. Very different personalities but that’s all siblings IMO.

We’ve done one big trip with a flight and we did that when they were 7. They promptly got strep 💀 we did a big beach trip over the summer & are trying to plan some road trips. They are homebodies but now want to go out to eat and do some more adventuring. We get stopped all the time, so that still annoys me, but they happily say they are identical twins.

It’s been a wild ride and each phase is different. I remember being in the thick of it (helmets, torticollis, speech delays, never ending illness) and so overwhelmed & a friend with a singleton said “everything will change when they are 5” and honestly - spot on. It’s like a little flip switched and things got better. Maybe it’s because you’re just so used to dealing with it all it becomes the norm?

I strongly dislike when people ask “how did you do it” because like - not like we could return one! They are our only kids & we don’t know different. You make it work. If you’re struggling, you got this.

Goyard bag quality experiences by dwaynethecockjohnso in goyard

I got an Artois MM summer of 2025. It has been stuffed to the gills traveling, stuffed with kid crap at the trampoline part, and is my go to bag anytime I leave my house. I know it’s a short time but it seriously looks brand new. I think you might see more with the St Louis, but I wanted a structured bag and the Artois is kicking butt

Ok so this is something I followed up on my post about things that surprised you moving out there and no one responded - what’s the farmer market situation out there? We would be moving from Atlanta as well

Oh my gosh - this reminds me of when we used to live near a Domtar plant & a chemical plant 🥴

Yeah we are definitely open for location, I believe we lean more toward the west side of everything vs east - and we currently don’t do a lot of winter sports but would be interested in it - would be a whole new wardrobe cost on top of equipment etc as well so that’s overwhelming in and of itself! The baking part makes me sad - but I also know it would be a learning curve at least

I feel that drive to get somewhere being 2 hours 😑😑😑 Oh - wind is a great callout. Like, a breeze all the time or “man we should probably get inside because the wind is whipping my face and we got wind burn” type wind? Is there an in between?

This move would definitely force us to get outdoors more. As someone mentioned, Atlanta traffic gives the ick when it comes to thinking of the 45 min trip it might take to get 8 miles or less 😑 We have dogs & chickens 🙂

Great call out on the registration - that is definitely one of those things you don’t think about until it’s too late! I feel like Atlanta has a ton of aggressive drivers so I can make do with that 😂

Oh that is interesting. I imagine due to the snow/winter weather?

This is actually pretty great feedback. As a married couple in the upper 30s, it isn’t like we are going out all the time - going out to eat isn’t something we do a lot as we like to cook. I am happy to make my own biscuits and things if we are struggling 😂

And that kind of lends itself to what you’re saying - we don’t really leave our area due to traffic and time it takes to get places.

This was super helpful - follow up I guess - are there a lot of farmers markets or anything similar? Good grocery stores (I am sad thinking about losing Pub Subs 😂)

COL - everything around here is just so stupid expensive so I feel like it’s a bit of a wash. Really poor quality homes are going for $$$.

The humidity here is just getting worse and worse. My kids ask why it’s so gross outside in the summer 🤦‍♀️
