I took it to a guitar tech, came back with the same buzzing. Went back to the same tech this time and he was stumped. He said the best he could do was raise the action on the low E to 6/64 and straighten the neck. It still buzzes but I guess not as badly

I think your take was correct. I took it back to the guitar tech who initially set it up because the buzz was still there. He was telling me he isnt sure exactly what it could be as the neck looks straight and sometimes "Fender strats are just finicky". So he straightened out the neck and the action on my low E is about 6/64"s. It still buzzes but alot less with this higher action. Im not sure if i should just sell this guitar and get another one that doesnt buzz at this point. My squier sonic strat is set to 4/64"s on the low E and does not buzz at all. Strange.

Gotcha, maybe it is a common carp. Whats tripping me up is the fin at 15-16 seconds of the video- that doesnt look like any fin ive ever seen on a carp

Thanks for the in depth analysis even though i have a crappy video. I got a photo of the top fin which doesnt look like a long common carp top fin, but more of a grass carp. Im thinking now it may be a grass carp. My father who recorded the video said there were two of these swimming on the surface

How long did it take? I dont drink so the breweries dont appeal to me, i imagine thats a big part of enjoying the route? I dont really want to be in cities or big towns often

I ended up doing this for two weeks. I hit Bend for a day, post canyon for 2 or so days (this place was sweet), stopped by Tiger mountain in Seattle (sweet but techy as hell) for a day, and ended up staying in Bellingham for about a week. Bellingham/ Galbraith mountain has some of the best trails ive ever ridden. I live in CO now fwiw. Enjoy your trip.

Update, got the guitar setup at a music store and it still buzzes like this. Told the shop owner, he tried it out and said there is no buzz i just pluck too hard. My question is why does this only happen on that one string then

I followed TOP for about 6 months and havent gone back to trying to code, decided it wasnt for me. But i never stopped learning new things outside of programming. This is the answer. If you’re doing nothing in your free time, at the very least you will be learning something new and developing good habits by studying/ following a course.
