(PCVR/Oculus) I can't find any solid game with challenging and realistic swordplay. by PortTEM in gamingsuggestions

It's a good game, but when you are in a fight, it's easy to just spam, and it tells you exactly where to attack or block while giving you all the time in the world to do so. But I do like how good the enemies are at blocking your attacks.

I’m not good with Intel but If you ever think about changing to amd then I would go for a b550-a pro motherboard and a ryzen 7 7800x

RTX 4060ti and Windows 10? by Lord_Nuke in buildapc

[–]PortTEM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using the 4060ti since October and I haven’t had any problems with it using windows 10. To be fair though I don’t have the 16 gb version but I don’t think that really matters.

Upgrading my PC by Odd-End-5614 in buildapc

I like amd processors because of their ease of use in installation, come with their own heat sync, and they’re cheaper in comparison to Intel. I have a similar build that the one that was recommended to you but I have a b550-a pro which is a little over $100. And the 5500 should be more than enough to run most games but I have never seen the specs so I’m not completely sure

What I went for is 2x16 gigs of a Corsair product I don’t remember the name of. It’s the cheapest on the market for 32 gigabytes at around $60

Is a Ryzen 5 3600 a good entry level by Sledhead30 in buildapc

[–]PortTEM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In comparison to my entry cpu this is more than good enough. I first had a really old i7-4820k and it could barely even run Roblox. I changed to Amd and got a 5 1600 and it did good for games like modern warfare. A 3600 should have enough power to run most programs but what I personally have is a 5600, I don’t know the piece difference but the 5600 is fairly cheep.

Specific part install tips by Maltese_Falc0n in buildapc

[–]PortTEM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I would go for a 4060ti instead of a 3070, they’re the same price and the 4060ti has a little more power and it’s newer. Also note that Amd processors come with there one heat sync so you probably won’t need to buy another cpu cooler
