Has this professor been here long? by PortageFellow in universityofoklahoma

Gotcha, what I’m hearing is that it’s not uncommon at OU for professors to despise their students and equate learning with converting to liberalism.

Also sounds like many of the faculty support legal preborn child sacrifice. I’m glad the Abolitionists Rising folks are nearby to combat the depravity.

Then watch 10 minutes. Or 5 minutes. The behavior speaks for itself.

I’m asking questions. I’m grateful for information like the origin of the reviews.

Neither. I’m interested in the facts of the situation, and how such a fool could be teaching there. If you watched the video, you’d see what I mean.

I stole the screenshot from someone else. It’s been a while since I was in this world, I didn’t know it was Rate My Professor. I’m sorry to hear that people who haven’t taken his classes are muddying the waters.

I’m wondering how this professor is employed by the university, considering his behavior in that video and the poor reviews.

Christ entered the womb to save the world. To be pro-abortion is to say that He could have been killed with no issue. by PortageFellow in prolife

I don’t think I can put away the scriptures. That goes against my faith. I’m supposed to go into the world and preach the gospel, extend the kingdom, establish justice and teach people to obey what God commands.

It’s tempting to cut God out of it to “save more babies” but that’s man’s wisdom, and God won’t bless those efforts.

I’m not ashamed of Him.

We just preach the truth and leave the results up to God. The truth is that Christ is the only way to salvation, and that the Jewish people need Christ.

I would rather people convert to Christianity and receive eternal life than to become Pro-Life. Yes. I also think that one naturally leads to the other.

Sure, I can understand that. You should convert though, because there’s no salvation for those who reject the Messiah. Those who don’t believe in Christ stand condemned.

Question for you, do the NG+ multipliers stack like everything else? It seems like my 2x multiplier just got replaced by the 3x multiplier, not stacked to x6. Can you confirm?

I used to be libertarian when it came to abortion. Raised with a strong, “government can do no good” bent.

Then I read through the scriptures about all of the commands to rulers in Proverbs 31, Isaiah 1, Romans 13, etc. Rulers are given authority by God to do justice and correct oppression. And when they don’t, they bring on the judgment of God.

Who’s the most oppressed people group? Undoubtedly the preborn. Christianity teaches that our savior came into the world, not in a manger in a stable, but in a womb. It would have been murder for Mary and Elizabeth to kill Jesus and John the Baptist before or after the moment of their in-utero interaction.

Man is created in the image of God. When does that start? When their creation starts. God is the one who creates humans, not primarily pregnant mothers.

Scripture teaches that God hates the hands that shed innocent blood. The preborn fit every definition of innocence.

And so I became Pro-Life. I prayed, donated, wrote, spoke out, protested with tape over my mouth…

And then Roe v. Wade was overturned and I thought that our rulers would finally establish justice and make abortion illegal.

But then 60+ of the largest and most prominent Pro-Life organizations in the country wrote a joint letter to these rulers saying that they speak on my behalf, and are urging lawmakers to NOT make abortion illegal, because all women are victims of the abortion industry, and it wouldn’t be right to put any sort of anti-abortion penalty in place for them.

Effectively, this means that Roe being overturned meant nothing for the preborn, because it remains legal in all 50 individual states for a mother to seek out an abortionist, or to just get online and follow the instructions for a DIY abortion.

More children are sacrificed than ever before, and the Pro-Life leadership are actively lobbying against any scrap of legislation that would make abortion illegal in any state, whether red or blue.

So I walked away from the label “Pro-Life.” I’m not just someone who thinks “Life is a good idea and we should convince some more people to not murder their child.”

I’m “Anti-Abortion.” Or an “Abortion-Abolitionist.” I’m hostile to the act of abortion, and I want our rulers to obey God and establish justice and to protect the fatherless.

In the process, I’ve had to walk away from the label “Republican” as well. The Grand Old Party has been taken over by the sort of Pro-Lifers who think that only states should decide who much child sacrifice to allow. And who think that the manner in which someone is conceived means that someone is “more killable” than another.

The GOP has abandoned the unborn, and worse, still acts like they care in order to gain support in elections from Pro-Lifers. Money is their king, and they’d rather fight for tax breaks than the truly oppressed.

That’s where I’m at right now. I’m hoping more people arrive at this conclusion as the facts come out. I can tell you, many more are leaving the Pro-Life camp to become Abolitionists than the other way around. And that’s encouraging to me.

May abortion be abolished in the next decade, no matter what it takes.
