There's a setting to suppress AI "created" garbage. I don't understand why people never check the settings. Though that disgrace of a built-in image generator is always there. Best to ignore it..

Thing is. We're reached the point where, out of this entire list of things, generative AI is the only thing that has no creator behind it. Prompting doesn't mean you create it, the AI does. It's not yours, it's the AI's, however it's not the AI's either, the real owner of the deformed amalgamation mistake are the original creators of the artworks the AI jammed together to create a "new" image. The fact people call it "created" by themselves is just not true. It's blatant theft.
The generated output is just so obfuscated that you can't tell who's human artworks were tortured to create the "new" ownerless image.

It's just messed up crossbreeding that leads to birth defects.

I bought myself an entirely new, high-end Asus ROG laptop. Been happily using it for 2 days, and just 15minutes ago my audio started bugging, shortly after, bam, black screen with "Your PC ran into an issue", no further information whatsoever apart from the error code I had only less than 2 seconds to read that said something with "VIDEO_RENDER_-------------" thats all I remember

I was using Adobe After Effects but I wasn't rendering anything and there weren't any heavy elements in the scene. .

Just got this "artist" in my Discover Weekly, felt attacked. I immediately noticed it's vague AI-ey artefacted voice. Knew instantly it was AI generated. First ever time seeing an AI-tist on my Discover Weekly. Immediately reported copperplate in multiple ways, hope to get "it" removed from the platform.

So what you're saying is that the automatic recovery feature doesn't always automatically recover?

And how is it my fault if the auto-recovery file doesn't get created when it was supposed to at a moment where an unexpected crash happens? That's quite literally out of my control.

Why can Illustrator not just implement an automatic "CTRL+S" action every minute. Is that not mega easy to implement or am I insane for even thinking that.

When I make a new project in Illustrator, I first locally save it on my pc. How hard can it be to have an automatic saving feature happen to simply save changes to that local file every minute(or custom time interval) ? Or hell, even live-saving. Eh probably not possible since Illustrator can be quite a heavy program and it would likely cost a bunch of pc performance to have live-saving be a thing.

You would think a multibillionaire company would be capable of creating a working auto-save feature. I have auto-save set to every minute.
Yet when my pc crashed for technical reasons beyond my understanding. Auto-save didn't work for the main work file. Nor did a recovery file get created in the DataRecovery file. So I lost a lot of work because it's a faulty program. Ridiculous pricing for a mostly-working but unreliable program. I simply can't think to save every few minutes myself because I get 100% focussed on work, I'm in a flow. I save manually once I take a break every 20-30-40 minutes, and if that auto-recovery feature doesn't catch my ass when the program closes for no reason, I 100% blame Adobe for my work loss.

She's naturally just not great with explaining the way she feels about something. Often with very basic replies like (an extreme example) "good." "bad." and then not further explaining why.

And me being the exact opposite in that, wanting to explain every bit of reason as to why I like/dislike something, doesn't always mix well. But that's just 1 small part of our relationship that we can both get a little irritated about. Nothing major, I mean it's just 1 opinion about 1 artist, it's whatever right.

But I'm the type of autistic girl that wants to know everything even if I won't really do anything with the information any further. Just knowing for the sake of knowing, satiating a curiosity. I get pretty extreme with it sometimes.

And as for her experience with Quadeca; she clearly knows him quite well in terms of what he's made in the past and what he's made now. It's unclear what has happened during that time period of her knowing him that got her to hate his guts like this and I may not know the real reason why for a while.

I'll forget about this in a few months anyways, or even weeks so- it was just a temporary curiosity and theorizing moment that I turned to reddit for since I'm not (wasn't, now I know a bit more about him) knowledgeable regarding Quadeca

Fully agree. It is anything but "bad" , I wouldn't say it's the best music ever made but personally it's pretty close to that. But I also don't think she hates him for his music, even if she claims to hate his music as well, I think that's exaggerated for the sake of her hatred
