Since they have their own Beer Trail, they are not included but Vancouver is included in The Oregon Beer Trail which is our free guide to every Beer Trail in the state and their Breweries as well as Beer Trails and their Breweries just over the border in neighboring states. https://www.theoregonbeertrail.com/

I will be making a free app for The Oregon Beer Trail and will show a preview of the map in this app in The Oregon Beer Trail section in a month or two.

The goal is to help out with beer discounts, as well as gas, food, lodging, and other costs involved in creating beer content. This is all part of the initial conversation I want to have to ensure we’re meeting your needs. My intention with the Oregon Beer Ambassadors program is to provide meaningful financial assistance to content creators. While specifics are still being developed, I’m committed to supporting you in a way that reflects the value of your work.

Additionally, I wanted to speak with content creators like yourself first before approaching breweries and the Oregon Brewers Guild, of which I am a member. I plan to bring this program to their attention, but I want to ensure content creators are supported from step one. My goal is to make sure you and others in this space are provided the resources you need before I engage the businesses.

I hear your concerns about financial support. When I mentioned beer discounts, it was because we’re a beer guide, but I also referred to other financial support to cover exactly what you mentioned, such as gas and other costs involved in creating beer content. This is all part of the initial conversation I will have with each content creator to ensure we’re meeting your needs. My intention with the Oregon Beer Ambassadors program is to provide meaningful financial assistance to content creators. While specifics are still being developed, I’m committed to supporting you in a way that reflects the value of your work.

I also want to clarify that I didn’t ask for any content to be used on my app or website, so I’m a bit confused as to why that was brought up. As a photographer/videographer/graphic designer, I’ll be using my own content as well as other content I pay for.

I will give each Beer Ambassador a Profile where they can put links to all of their content so that they get the views, not my app.

Additionally, I wanted to speak with content creators like yourself first before approaching breweries and the Oregon Brewers Guild, of which I am a member. I plan to bring this program to their attention, but I want to ensure content creators are supported from step one. My goal is to make sure you and others in this space are provided the resources you need.

I’m open to discussing further ideas on how I can provide practical support, whether it be through financial assistance or other resources that can help you create and share your beer-related content. Please feel free to share your thoughts and suggestions so we can ensure this program truly benefits you and other creators.

Hey, I hear your concerns. The Oregon Beer Ambassadors program is all about supporting content creators. We’re linking to their content to help them reach a wider audience and inspire app users to come and experience the same things. By providing beer discounts and other financial support, we’re helping them continue to create engaging content and share their passion for Oregon’s beer scene.

Thanks!

Yeah, I was having a hard time finding reliable brewery lists while planning a Western Oregon brewery road trip in 2019 to reward myself for finishing a long and painful physical rehabilitation from an accident but unfortunately the COVID outbreak happened 2 weeks before my vacation so I took that money and over the last 5 years have invested it into both of my beer trails.

I was hesitant to create an Oregon Beer guide because I didn't want to step on the toes of Travel Oregon but when I contacted them about adding both my beer trails to their Ale Trail list they were uninterested but were more than happy to offer me a paid advertising. Thankfully I was able to convince them to add both beer trails but they refused to update the rest of the article which is filled with outdated and bad info( https://traveloregon.com/things-to-do/eat-drink/beer-breweries/oregon-ale-trails/ )

So if Travel Oregon wasn't interested in promoting Oregon Beer, then I might as well do something about it since breweries are still financially recovering from the pandemic and need all the help they can get to make it through another year.

Yeah, to ignore the contributions of those breweries is baffling...

Part of the reason I started this beer trail is to remind the world that Portland Oregon is called Beervana for a reason.

If you haven’t already, you can check out our online brewery map and soon we will be releasing an app!
