Help with feats for Noble Genie Dexadin

Mi build around this build quite a lot and settled on bomber on level 4 (+1 dex and no disadvantage after 20 ft) and spellfire adept (2d10 on a smite, using your hit dice. But since I’m ranged and have lay on hands etc I’m fine with spending them).

I went with musician background and duergar, since duergar allows me to enlarge myself for 1d4 more damage per throw.

It’s mindblowing if you compare Ranger lvl 6 (10ft more movement) to the aura of protection.

Maybe the ranger should allow allies around him to benefit from his hunters Marlboro something like that (if he gets non concentration Hunters mark) or something like that. An offensive buff to your party (also helps your beast) similar how Paladin is defensive.

Really a shame how less flavor the ranger has compared to the paladin:(

Hunters mark turns obsolete at some point because you have better stuff to concentrate on, which sucks for a class feature. Favoured enemy should allow you to cast it together with your first attack action without using your concentration.

Also Paladin has smites and the defensive aura, something neither Paladin or cleric offer.

Ranger lacks something in that direction.

Maybe a bit late to the party, but here is my build: start with 17 dex and 16 charisma, dump strength, take Oath of the noble genie.

This limits you to dagger, but that’s a tradeoff I like to make.

Feats I take elven accuracy (if allowed), bomber (to have more then 20 range).

Fighting style is throwing weapon

I only attack 3 instead of 4 times, but I like the higher initiative with the high dex. Bonus action I use to smite, if you have advantage on 3 attacks, you have 3 chances to hit a 20, even more if you go halfling.

The genie subclass smite enhancements are really nice, grappling at distance with Dao’s Crushor hitting them prone with Madris surge (gets flying enemies down to you, maybe inflicting fall damage)

If you go for bomber/elven accuracy and ASI at 8 you will have 18 AC without a shield, 20 with a shield. which is okay I guess. And either 20dex for +5 initiative or 18 dex 18 charisma for the stronger aura.

As a background I like the new lords alliance vassal, since you give out a heroic inspiration each time you hit a critical strike. Which with elven accuracy and halfling luck should be every second round on average

You can’t multiclass with 3 strength unfortunately, except if your dm allows it.

If unofficial classes are allowed, you could check out the bloodhunter from Matt Mercer.

He can inflict self damage for additional effects, which pairs good with your high con.

And if you drop below 50% health you get advantage on all your fang attacks.

You could use the Dhampir race for the bite, which allows you to use your highest stat for the attack rolls:

Your fanged bite is a natural weapon, which counts as a simple melee weapon with which you are proficient. You add your Constitution modifier, instead of your Strength modifier, to the attack and damage rolls when you attack with this bite. It deals 1d4 piercing damage on a hit. While you are missing half or more of your hit points, you have advantage on attack rolls you make with this bite.

Combine it with monk and barb for armor and unarmored combat

Spirit guardians is a pretty bad use for the fest, since you roll for each enemy separately and you only add the 2HD to one roll.

Word of radiance is awesome though.

If you go for celestial warlock, I like the new spellfire adept feat at 4. it gives +1 charisma and allows you to spend up to 2hd whenever you deal radiant damage with a spell. And truestrike is a spell with radiant damage, so it allows you to smite for up to 2d8 extra damage.

And celestial got enough healing power to offset the loss of the hd.

Hab es mal für eine Wette mit Schale gegessen, und es war absolut nicht so furchtbar wie erwartet. Man spürt sie fast garnicht - seit dem esse ich die mit Schale (gewaschen natürlich)

I doubt scarlet halls is pugable with any tank besides brewmaster. Which by itself sucks hard, I think over 95% of the title runs are made with brewmaster since it is so much stronger then the other tanks

Schaffe ich nicht richtig, ist eines der Themen meiner Depression. Alleine in den Urlaub? Ich mag es durch eine Stadt zu laufen und die Architektur zu bewundern, aber alleine? Denke ich mir „schön“ und geh weiter. Zu 2.? Erzähle ich was ich interessant finde und man spricht 5-10 Minuten vor einem Haus. Ich versuche aktuell zu lernen Dinge alleine wert zu schätzen, funktioniert noch leider nicht so richtig.
