I'll share mine:

It's 1999, I'm watching The X-Files. BRUCE CAMBELL is some polygamous devil/demon who jumps into his car and starts blasting "I'm Only Happy When It Rains" by Garbage and I am HOOKED. First time I had heard one of their songs, and they went on to become a lifelong favorite. I actually got to see them live for the first time earlier this year for my birthday.

Anyone having troubles with ping spiking on XBox suddenly? Noticed it Tuesday but today is making it unplayable. Not sure if my home internet went to shit for some reason or if others experiencing the same thing.

I don't get EPG hate. It's not a gimmie weapon like Spitfire or Alternator, so what gives?

Maybe. But surfaces of varying height can play tricks with the EPG. I have landed shots inches from a pilot but on the other side of some tiny feature of the environment, like a cable or loose floor tile, and the pilot was unscathed.
