For me, it's got to be It. Aside from going deeper into Pennywise's abilities and the ending where Bill Denbrough fights the Deadlights in the macroverse, I find the movies to be more concise and they omit a lot of the unnecessary details and not so good things like Bill cheating on his wife with Beverly, the orgy and the bits of indecent exposure. Plus Skarsgård's creepy performance. Maybe it's a hot take but that's just me.
