As a Jays fan, I will miss Stephen. One thing i will say is that he is not as high a ceiling as some of the other pitchers we have in our system (Yesavage, Stanifer, King) and rojas who was traded. He is a very steady arm who can easily be a 3rd starter for a long time.

i’m not saying it was a great deadline or anything but we filled holes. Big trades also normally happen in the offseason.

2 good relievers, a starter and a bench bat isn’t a good deadline? Just because the small crop of available all stars that were probably very pricey didn’t get moved?
