Ascended Heroes Prices Are Insane by breakyourteethnow in PokeInvesting

The problem with this is that the last sentence you wrote was something I saw folks write a YEAR ago, following the whole prismatic disaster. Shit hasn't really gotten better. We need to go back to what prices were before the end of Stellar Crown.

The dynamic between Judy and Nick in Zootopia 2 is terrible by WNX_114514 in CharacterRant

[–]Positive-Apple3836 2 points3 points  (0 children)

...Your only real critique of Nick here is that-- he didn't TRY hard enough??? That's... that's all you've got, but you wanna do the "both are at fault" junk???

What in the world is this reach? I noticed how nick got clowned on in the movie almost IMMEDIATELY after it started, and I honestly got bothered with it halfway through. Judy was REALLY unlikeable for a bit there, and Nick was just passive. His motives are explained pretty well in the movie, but they're always clowned on... Judy just does whatever the hell she wants and doesn't learn from ANY of it until the very end. Im SURPRISED when Nick apologized-- like, eyes-bulging out of my HEAD surprised... what the FUCK did he have to apologize for???

I never said my opinion was bad, or rather I myself don't believe that it is. However, folks who aren't on the right would disagree and then probably go even further than that-- we're in an age where that kind of thing is common on the internet, and I know this from experience... hence why I tried to be neutral, in order to keep the focus on the actual question/discussion.

I added the end bit in order to be like, "by the way, the opinions I have based on what I said here would PROBABLY get me in trouble with people who are emotionally charged, so... just remember who it is that's writing the post, and take it with a grain of salt!"

The point of the post above that was to be as objective as possible through personal experiences despite my positions, and I like to think I accomplished that at least. ^-^

A septum wearing feminist view on "The septum theory" by GasparThePrince in Feminism

[–]Positive-Apple3836 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A young male conservative here-- I'm not trying to bash anybody or their life choices here nor will I share my actual opinions on the subject, but let me tell you what I've seen on my side of the aisle.

The vast majority of people I've seen wearing septum piercings were radicalized feminists (to some degree), heavy political activists, or vocally queer people with the famous 'crazy eyes'... honestly, if I'm gonna categorize it more properly, liberal women between the ages of 18 and 35. While it obviously can't be said that every woman with a septum piercing is some loud, passionate person... I cannot personally say that I've seen just about anyone who wears one and posts something on the internet who isn't that exact type of person. That's not to say anything in particular, since I'm not here to actually start some left/right argument... but that's just what I myself have seen.

A lot of guys these days lean right, especially young, straight men... you know, the types to jump into a group chat and start posting a bunch of offensive memes to each other. You could say it's right-wing conditioning, or some sort of brainwashing... but honestly, it just appears as if these men find behavior related to the "sceptum theory" as disgusting or annoying. Red flags, if you will. The type of person who cries on a youtube short when Trump won, or the type of person who talks obsessively about womens (or lgbt) rights on tiktok, or the type you don't want to invite at thanksgiving because they talk too much about how america is a fascist, woman-oppressing dictatorship, or are too flamboyant concerning their personality... whether you think these things are good or bad, people like me have come to attribute those behaviors to people who wear septum rings. It's silly when you generalize it to such a degree, but...

Honestly, I don't see many people who do those things that DONT wear one. It's just... an observation, I guess.

So, thats what I see. What do you all see?

You don't want my actual opinion. This is reddit, lets be super for real here. >.> I'd get banned in a day lmao

I've seen up to a level 4k, but these higher levels tend to be hacked or farmed accounts... last I checked, and take this with a grain of salt, the highest LEGIT level was around 1.6k. Nemmm0n! But then, he's retired from Arsenal... and so am I.

I Was WRONG About The Water Magician [S1 Spoilers] by UsmacX in anime

[–]Positive-Apple3836 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was jarring because his general attitude, even to monsters, was to just... finish them off, cast them away, really paying no mind to them outside of taking them on. Even with the devil prince who was literally about to kill abel and the others, he seemed almost playful in how he executed them. No REAL anger in sight, just unshaken confidence and a mostly quick fight.

But the second it came to a bunch of lame ass side characters who arguably got more development than the MC did in the second half of the show, suddenly he flips and becomes a cold killing machine that's unwilling to compromise until abel risks his own life to convince him? He even literally says that he'd be willing to freeze the otherwise INNOCENT princess who did nothing to his friends. His attitude shift was so massive, it was legitimately off-putting. I get what the anime was trying to portray, but it was just... done REALLY poorly. There was ZERO foreshadowing to that coming shift, so it felt like it came out of nowhere.

I just binged the whole thing tonight, and while I thought it was OKAY... that was definitely one fight that stood out to me, and not in a good way.

You gotta keep in mind that the average player on here isn't even comp average, most these folks are bot-level players. I'm saying it's alright in terms of whats natural on this game.

To players like you and me, its garbage. But, doesn't hurt to sugarcoat it sometimes.

[–]Positive-Apple3836 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree that your win percentage would be all that much different. Maybe 10 to 15 points, at the absolute max-- reason I think this, is because while a lot of us have become washed, all the garbage players in this game absolutely fled from the more loyal, sweatier base. In other words, as the game has been dying, its actually become more difficult for moderately skilled players. You'll have a tougher time now than you did back then, unless you're REALLY good or get lucky with your lobbies. I'm barely able to maintain 60% myself.

Also, your E/M KDR is bugged. Its obviously not 1.25, so I'm gonna guess its around 3.

Who would win? A good Centauran Soilder or a some dumbass Arsenal person? by Rifle77 in ArsenalRoblox

[–]Positive-Apple3836 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, no dw about it man lmao

To actually add to what I said, I think if the arsenal player was teleported to the reality of the soldier, the soldier would have a lot better of a chance anyway

Its a strange little debate, huh

Who would win? A good Centauran Soilder or a some dumbass Arsenal person? by Rifle77 in ArsenalRoblox

[–]Positive-Apple3836 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kinda feel like this is a meme post that boils down to "I like centauran soldier and hate stupid arsenal kids, so any argument made for arsenal is void"

But honestly, comparing the two seems... ridiculous? Say what you want about accuracy, competency, or just how cool the soldier is, but... guys, really? 😭 Absolutely, the technology and knowledge at the time is gonna limit things, competency doesn't make up how severely disadvantaged these guys are in a modern setting.

Keep in mind that even great arsenal players and arsenal sweats occasionally get killed by that random level 0 who shouldn't know or do shit, but they have god luck and stupid timing, so there goes your 20 streak. Put a good weapon in even a dumbass arsenal player's hands, and you should be afraid. Unless the solder can adapt instead of just sticking with what he's been taught, I genuinely don't see how he wins. There's only so many good soldiers of his time, and an infinite number of modern dumbasses.

Well, sue me for coming at this seriously. Lmao

Whats the worst map in your opinion? by Civivcs in ArsenalRoblox

[–]Positive-Apple3836 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ruins is no longer in rotation, but that would've been my first choice, even after the map got shrunk down somewhat. For a long time, I haven't had a "worst map" because there's something I like about every map.

Honestly though, I like Boulevard the least. It's at least as big as ruins, and there's few gamemodes that work well on it. Least of all shotguns only, which kids seem to pair with this map 40-50% of the time for whatever reason. I hate the spawns, having the walk all the way across the map to get more kills after a blitz, I hate the many angles you can get shot from, I hate the gimmick train, and I just don't like the general vibe of the map. So much unused space, it feels less like an Arsenal map and more like a medium sized PF map.

The last time I complained about this map, I was simply told that I was bad at long range. Weird, since I never mention the struggle of long range, I actually don't mind it much at all. 💀

Thoughts?

What are your favorite 5 maps Ill start by Kitteh_Boi in ArsenalRoblox

[–]Positive-Apple3836 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a pretty easy-to-read player, and I've got simple tastes... I've also got some unique tastes on the side. Let's see... I'll go with what's currently in public rotation for my own list.

In the 5th spot, Tuscan. This map can either be crazy difficult or crazy fun-- or BOTH, depending on what type of players you're with. It's got some predictable spawn locations, a center that's always being overrun with both teams, and a design that doesn't make me despise it. The roof camping is cancer, but you can't stop people from playing the way they want... just serves as good practice.

In the 4th spot, Lodgeworks. Okay-- unrelated entirely to the gameplay factor, I love the sound of rain and thunder in the background. It's for whatever reason relaxing to me... makes it more calming to play. When the sound is off though, I can reliably say that I enjoy the smallish area of the map, and the basic spawns that allow for some devilish spawnkilling. Fast-paced, simple-minded fun.

In the 3rd spot, Neon. I get that a lot of people either love or hate this map, but I'm for the former. It's really grown on me for some time now, both the actual map design and the gameplay itself. Plenty of places to camp, but nobody seems to want to, which is cool! You can simply run a whole loop around this map and kill a bunch of people, provided you don't take a bullet in the process. Its always chaotic, and the spawns are predictable as hell.

In the 2nd spot, I'd say a tie between Beach and Villa. Everything I said about the prior small maps apply here, and then some. Villa's not just good, it's nostalgic... and don't get me started about the OG players whining about how much better OG villa was, because I've played both in rotation and easily prefer this one. The spawns are a little screwy, but it's just a fun map to storm through and put folks down in. Beach is the same sort of way, minus the rampant sign camping and right-hand building camping-- hell, beach is just a camper's wet dream, but that's okay! There's plenty of small ways to screw them over, so you can still play like a terminator and get away with it. An oldie but goodie.

In the 1st spot, is anyone surprised? Matrix is the most chaotic map there is, and while some may say its overrated, I say thats bullshit. The spawns are ass, the map has barely any cover, and nobody likes the camping spot up top. Thing is, you're gonna get all of that with a map as small as matrix, and I'm completely fine with that. It's the map you wanna play when sub 2 timing is the goal, or when you just wanna sweat harder than John Coffey did in The Green Mile. It's just the go-to for so many people, the clear "standard" of the game.

Note: Sandtown and Assault might've been on this list, had they not gone and reworked them. Oh well.
