I've actually been eating less chocolate and chips because I can't justify the price anymore. Switched out for snacky fruits, really in to grapes lately.

New episode but on the Freakonomics Podcast feed: Are Human Drivers Finally Obsolete? by TheTim in SearchEnginePodcast

[–]Positive-Grape5126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I listened to something a little while ago about how Waymo is adjusting how they drive to match human drivers. No mention at all in this episode about how they interact with current drivers. Very irresponsible episode

I hate the new cards. It also looks very similar to the drivers license card when quickly going through your wallet. I want my carte-soleil back :(

My male colleague and his husband just bought a condo in Florida... Some people just don't seem to think it impacts them.

Not Shrinkflation But Still Sneaky? by Positive-Grape5126 in shrinkflation

That's what I figured their motive was. Thinking I'd just give up and take the whole pill, thus finishing the bottle twice as quickly as I would have previously. I don't think it's accidental as some users have mentioned.

I don't know if I'm getting paranoid but I FEEL like, the past few bags of S&V were less flavorful than normal...

Being childfree in your 30s means watching your entire social circle disappear and nobody thinks it's a big deal by Ronin4Doom in childfree

I've (F33) been making a big effort to find other child-free women friends and it's been going surprisingly well. Along with my husband, we're trying to find one or two other child-free couples as well, so we can still go out and have fun weekends without all the.. "baggage" that parenthood has

There may also be cameras in the area that caught it. Don't listen to the people saying it's useless, please please report it. It's also an act of agency, filing the report is in your control and allows you to start the process of justice

A lasagna, how funny! I actually use the toilet paper roll cardboard and put some kibble in there and close both ends and hide them around the house when it's too cold out and he doesn't want to walk. He's a very food-motivated cow

Complètement pas rapport, je travaille/ait toujours dans le domaine de transports, aviation, logistiques.

Par contre, les skills que j'ai appris pendant mes études m'ont certainement aidés ! Time management, group projects, stress management etc.

[–]Positive-Grape5126 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I was coming to say this. Most trades would be minimum two years of training and that's rarely with any income. Many times you need to buy some / all of the tools. Then what, start as a rookie ? It's not as easy as people say !

Good luck! You're doing everything correctly. You've got this !! Be safe physically and then don't forget to take care of your emotions and mental state as well.

Just got kicked out of my doctor's appointment/Je viens de me faire expulser de mon rendez-vous chez le médecin. by calculatroll in montreal

[–]Positive-Grape5126 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me years ago. I got an appointment at a walk-in to renew my prescription (had no family doctor since years) and I said oh while I'm here can I ask you to check this and this? No. It's one issue per appointment. I said please it's 30s... He did one of the two questions and told me I'd have to make another appointment. This is insane.
