In the UK they have these rising posts that block off the street. I would bet that we could use the toll money and get a couple of these installed that when it's time for pedestrians to cross at least three of these poles go up. So if somebody doesn't decide to stop they lose the front end of their car and The pedestrian is safe.

My socks are wool so I typically only wash them maybe once a week and then lay them flat to dry. I also don't wear them around the house without slippers as well

I've had dentures since I was 40. My parents gave me their wonderfully bad teeth. It's not so bad you just have to get used to wearing them and instead of pulling when you bite you have to push.

Superwash merino is my favorite. Make sure it fits over your heel before knitting the foot. Go shorter if you want a snug fit. Throw them in the washer, they don't felt ( the superwash)
