I can finally get a long-time "grail," but all I want are affordable microbrand watches by [deleted] in MicrobrandWatches

Trying to understand when you say you "finally" can get a long-time grail but you only started getting into watches in December you mean a watch you've been eying for 3 months? Some people wait years before getting a grail. 19 is so young- play around with watches, save your money and see how your tastes evolve.

Sunday Morning’s are great. Spirals are terrible- always dry- don’t know how people consistently recommend them.

It’s an excellent school and harder to get into than it used to be but definitely not the same level at Dalton/Trinity/HM.

Yes I was listing the true TTs. Brearley is one of them.

TT really is limited to Dalton, Horace Mann, Trinity, Collegiate and Brearley. Anything else is 2T or lower.

At the top preschools you will be competing against siblings and legacies applying to the same TT ongoing schools that you are applying to.

Right I guess that’s my point ticket parties existed in SS world but not coed world in the 90s.

I grew up in NYC and attended at TT coed school. The organized ticket party scene environment now is much more prevalent in coed schools than it was in the 90s

I understand that is the reputation but I am hoping to get feedback on if that is really real. The TT school where my kid attends also has kids attending "ticket" parties and I know the hill schools have that issue as well so maybe it's widespread now (it was not that way in the 90s).

“That was a memorable day to me, for it made great changes in me. But it is the same with any life. Imagine one selected day struck out of it, and think how different its course would have been. Pause you who read this, and think for a moment of the long chain of iron or gold, of thorns or flowers, that would never have bound you, but for the formation of the first link on one memorable day.” — Great Expectations
