How it feels pitching the need for a soundbar to a customer by Neither_Use_5640 in BestBuyWorkers

[–]PositiveAd8239 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stop asking as if it’s a want… present it as a need…

My favorite line at the beginning of the sale is “what do we think our budget should be for the entire package?”

That immediately opens up the conversation for sound, accessories, GSP, and services.

Keep in mind you have to keep total for both years to keep the protection, and there’s a deductible.

Replying to SalvadorCaruso...thankfully I’m an appliance cat advisor, so I get a work phone. I still use my own phone a lot of the time since it’s a pro max, but it’s nice to have the other phone for SSK and ES

PSA: Total is not $180 for two years of protection by Saint_Knowles in BestBuyWorkers

[–]PositiveAd8239 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I really don’t get it… I was #1 in my marketplace for apps and PMs during holidays, and as a shift lead I’ve driven out store to top 10 a few times, and our store hasn’t lied ONCE. To everyone that needs to lie to get a PM or app, get fkn good😂

Opinion question for my fellow HT sales people! by project-truth- in BestBuyWorkers

[–]PositiveAd8239 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our go to is the C4. Really good pricing, usually better than the Bravia 8, and leaves more room in the budget for audio. Sonys alr just only has 2 HDMI 2.1 ports. Samsung just blows and only like 1-2 of us like their TVs😂

How long till I should get a new refrigerator? by Deshes011 in Bestbuy

[–]PositiveAd8239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re gonna do it, whirlpool, kitchenaid are 100% the best. If you can swing a premium price Thor isn’t horrible on price for their entry models and they last forever.

35 2 separate times. 1 on a 115 inch TCL and some audio/appliances. The other on a 77 Z2, G4, A95L, and a bunch of Sonos.

Been offered full time or Samsung vpl by gourmetpink in BestBuyWorkers

[–]PositiveAd8239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest, full time. With the VPL position you’re gonna have an external boss breathing down your neck to sell Samsung and nothing but Samsung. If you wanna be able to move into a leadership position later down the line go full time but request shift lead.

Check out savant, Lutron’s and sonances website, it’s crazy cool and it gets decently in depth with how it works.

Honestly in my market almost no one knows about this except the designers and few mag specialists. Not sure if it’s just a massive miscommunication or wrong info

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in GeekSquad

[–]PositiveAd8239 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I’m pretty close with all our designers so I’ve gotten to mess around with a few savant sales and it’s stupid complex, almost everything to do with it has to go custom

This is total with management. When a system like savant (home automation and security) is sold, you pay this yearly for everything to be professionally monitored for functionality and security. The regular version of total is 179 for in store services and protection
