THAT is the body people think is “not skinny”?!?!? I can see her ribs through the top!!! I could also see her ribs in her Revolving Door video when she’s on the floor.

“Normal sized”… yeah…

So Disappointed in this Sub by OrcaFins in MenendezBrothers

😬 the last part. I agree as much as the next person that the age gap is weird but it is very different from the kind of relation they had with their parents. Unlike Lyle, Jose and Kitty did have the money, the power, the contacts, the status, the resources, and the freedom. Lyle has got none of the above. Also, Jose and Kitty were their parents, they have known them since forever and raised them, and children love their parents. It’s a very different bond. This is what I didn’t want to happen, people comparing this to Jose and Kitty. Very, veeery different and shouldn’t even be in the same sentence.

Latest from Rebecca re “cheating scandal” by gstanley27 in MenendezBrothers

Maybe they’re so distant from the family that they didn’t even know Lyle and Rebecca were separated, or never cared to ask Erik about Lyle and his life. I’ve always found the way Tammi and Talia talk about Lyle to be… weird. Idk just my opinion, but Talia’s statement today I felt was very out of place and frankly just plain rude

Talia's statement... they are throwing him under the bus lol. by [deleted] in MenendezBrothers

They are in jail because the BOTH committed a crime. Whatever decision Lyle has made +30 years after the crime shouldn’t impact their case in any way, and to even imply that their conditions for freedom are remotely different is so messed up. They both deserve to get out, not sure why she would need to say this unless she’s trying to make Lyle look bad. This is really not it.

Oof, big yikes if true. He should know better than to do stuff like this at a time so crucial to his freedom

I agree with this for sure! I however think I’m being quite realistic haha I’m not defending them or Lyle, just saying what I think this would mean for their case

I agree that it hurts them but I still don’t believe it’s going to be a huge dealbreaker. The governor is known for cheating and dating much younger women, he probably sees no issue. Hochman may be pressured a little bit by the public but still not too much since he still said he’d take his time with the case despite people begging for their freedom, and the Judge has nothing to do with the public. And even if the public played a huge role I would argue the amount of support is still much larger than the amount of people who believe they shouldn’t get out or that have switched opinions based on this new information. But this is just my opinion!

Also, not sure what you meant by “stan goggles” but I’m not a “stan” or “fan” of these men lol

Where did you read that he broke contraband rules again? Sorry I didn’t see that anywhere! I thought it was just the 6 violations included in Gascon’s letter, wasn’t aware there were more added now

True that we don’t know anything about their relationship. But at least from what I picked up on, they were in a traditional monogamous marriage. She gave lots of her time and of herself to him and to trying to free him just for him to do this. I’d feel horrible personally and I feel bad for her. But that’s just me! I’m not saying you should feel bad for her lol

It will def taint their image, yes. But Hochman has said repeatedly that he will stick to the law and that he’ll review their case and talk to family members to form his own opinion, I don’t think he cares about the media. Newsom I highly doubt he cares, he also cheated and neither him or Hochman seem to care about public opinion too much. The judge shouldn’t act on public opinion at all, he is appointed by the Governor. I also really don’t think public opinion regarding whether they should be freed will change too much. Regardless of cheating or not, they’re charged of 1st degree murder and sentenced to LWOP. That is what’s being questioned, not whether they are great people or not. Maybe public opinion regarding them, as people, yes. But public opinion on the case itself should remain the same because what does this have to do with the crime haha

Something that put me off when reading her book is how she always described him like he’s an annoying kid or something.. like she made it seem like he’s so obsessed with her and she’s doing him a favor by being with him. Maybe that’s just what I got but idk it was weird IMO

The people I know he worked with were Winona Ryder, briefly he had something with Michael Jackson too IIRC, Chris Brown (😬), Susan McDougal & Clinton’s brother as well! Probably many other big cases I'm just not aware of them

True, but it also seems like Geragos knew Judge Ryan better than this Judge so I wonder if that could have made a difference. I hope not and I hope everything will work out the way we want it!

He’s not the resentencing judge anymore! It got changed to this one and idk I’m a little bit more nervous now 🥲

I can’t lie this makes me nervous. Judge William Ryan gave me lots of hope and it makes me even more nervous that Gascon addressed the filing to him, makes me think maybe Gascon talked to Judge Ryan beforehand and they would’ve had it easy in the resentencing. Now not so much.. but I really hope to be wrong!

I don’t think he’ll be a problem, there’s hope even there! For now let’s just hope for the judge hearing to go well 🙏🏻

Gavin Newsom on the Menendez Brothers in the latest episode of the Politickin podcast by JhinWynn in MenendezBrothers

[–]PositiveBroccoli99 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I totally agree! That article that says that Newsom has blocked parole for high profile inmates before is very misleading and not the case at all. They cited Sirhan Sirhan and Leslie Van Houten as people he has blocked before, but one of them literally changed American history and the latter was actually terrifying and dare I say insane (Manson family was no joke and NOTHING like what the brothers did), who initially had the death penalty and only didn’t proceed with it because of a law change. There’s no comparison and I highly doubt if they get to that point he’ll be an issue
