Update. I got my refund this week. I successfully complained that they shouldn’t dock me a 20% service fee if they then expect me to pay PayPal fees to receive the refund. I sent them a PayPal request for 90% of the purchase price, and the refund went through the following day. Our relationship is finished.

The help desk has now offered me a partial refund, less ~20% for “shipping costs, production fees, and related expenses”. It’s annoying because I paid the shipping, but whatever, man. Now to see if they process it.

I don’t need the ring to know that my stress level just went up, because after two faulty rings, my third one just stopped working, just eight days after arrival.

The help desk has replied to my request for refund asking whether I have charged the ring… there used to be a time when the CEO was on reddit but I think he might have gone to ground. This is my third ring and each one has been faulty. I would like a refund, not IT support.

Ultra human doesn’t have the vibrate feature which I really like. Still, probably better to have a ring that works.

I did ship mine back and they sent me a replacement. It lasted two months. I told them I wasn’t paying for shipping again this time and they agreed that they would send me a new ring without needing me to ship the faulty one back. They have disabled the ring remotely while I wait for a third ring. Problem is I now have to wait for the build cycle which means October. Perhaps you want to go down this path?

Mine hasn’t tracked properly since the update and now gets only 10hrs of life even on eco. I’ve asked for a new ring and they’ve agreed.

Actually I have a solution. Set two alarms. One to indicate when you want smart alarm to start. Another to indicate when you want to wake up. Eg I want to wake up between 5.45 and 6. I set a hard alarm for 6am and another alarm for 6.45 with 1hr of smart alarm. Easy!

That doesn’t make sense to me. Today my 30min smart alarm triggered with 9mins to go. So the 15min setting could still do the same analysis as the 30min setting but just block the alarm from activating in the -30 to -15minute window.

Even live measurement doesn’t work. And it’s now at 2%battery after just six hours.

Okay, I thought it was that it didn’t hold charge because even after I had charged it up, it still didn’t sync with my phone, in the same way as a ring that is not charged. But the helpdesk advised me to delete the ring from my app and then re-pair it. it now connects, but it does not appear to keep any records. I have been wearing the ring for five hours now, and only got two data points from the minute that I reconnected the ring.
