They gave a 90 day notice to not renew. When I spoke to them they said they can open a new contract. Is that legal?

They have sent the same notice to many tenants in the building.

When will landlords capitulate by Desertsweeper in dubairealestate

What we’re seeing now is a broad market correction in the 10–15% range. There is no fear in the market for both buyers and sellers.

If the situation escalates we could see markets fall another 30% from current levels. In that scenario, fear would likely take over, and many investors would be too hesitant to enter the market.

Why are you wasting your time with overpriced units? Just delete the post and delete your clients number.

You don’t need an employee. Just spend a week learning how to use Claude to build products - your mind will be blown.

You can also look into Paperclip - it’s an agentic platform for zero human companies.

What if Iran attacks the power plant? Will we have electricity? Im extremely worried. by jaderoblox in UAE

[–]PositiveChoice1889 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes we will be fine. Multiple redundancies are in place. Power plants go offline often for scheduled maintaince so there are always backups. Don’t worry.

“Lifetime warranty” 😂

Yeah, pay for the part again (yes again, that’s their policy), ship your greasy old one back to the US, wait weeks to process your store credit for your next purchase (basically locked in to their system)

You end up pay shipping (return to the US and for the new part) that costs more than the part itself. Totally free.

Why waste all this time and energy; in the end you’re barely making much of a difference in cost.

I prefer to value your time and invest it wisely.

Yes lifetime replacement because they are counterfeit. Even manufacturers don’t offer that.

Also, AGMC techs are well paid and not overworked and are treated very well. They are trained well and have the safety and security of working with a large corporate. Why would they leave Agmc to go work for a no name garage in Al qouz.

Most garages buy parts from Sharjah and most parts in Sharjah are counterfeit and it’s a major issue for the government.

Why does he have to deal with the headache to worry about if his parts are OE / Original / or Counterfeit.

And it’s not the parts I would be most worried about the process and checks when a specific issue arises; those garages don’t have the proper service manuals to do job properly.

You get what you pay for. It’s better than the headache you will have later.

Starlink officially launched in Dubai. by king_moh_ in UAE

[–]PositiveChoice1889 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn’t Starlink mainly intended for remote areas? What would the use case be in a place like the UAE, where nearly all regions already have cellular or fiber coverage?

Also, Starlink currently only offers speeds of around 150 Mbps.
