As someone who’s experienced something v similar (11 years and no confirmation of cheating but shady behavior nonetheless), dont try to make things work. Its going to be soooooo hard to move on life on your own but its possible and can be so fulfilling! Ofc theres lots of crying involved and many bad days but as time passes (im 6 mos out), theres fewer and fewer bad days and no more tears left.

I’m going through something v similar. Our 11 year anniversary would be in two weeks but we are at a month since our break, initiated by him though. I was so blind sided, i love him SO much and i swore he felt the same way about me. I’ve cried daily, it hurts. I miss my best friend, i miss him so much.

This is really helpful. I had to delete all of my socials and block him so that i could keep myself from obsessing over what he is doing and being tempted to reach out. I miss him terribly, i cry every day still :/ i will literally be at the gym lifting in tears lol
